pickNormally, I wouldn't pick a book with these colors on the cover, but it's for one of the reading groups here on Litsy. Also, normally, I wouldn't read anything someone considers cozy. Not because I have a problem with them, but they don't usually seem to end up in my TBR. Glad I read this one. I recommend it if you need a light read with what are actually heavy themes. And, especially so if you work or have a child in elementary school.😄

This Diva Cozy Mystery Series is so good. Davis has great character development and the characters have depth. They grow with each book. Sophia and Nina are supposed to go on vacation, but a storm has them canceling their plans. She and all her friends are soon drawn into a murder. Hoarce told Sophia he thought someone was poisoning him. Now he is dead. Did his new younger wife, his kid, his ex-wife, or a law partner kill him?

so-soThis was enjoyable, but for me, not as much as the 1st book (this is the 2nd). I love the Irish setting but the vampire book club was not very present in this book. 🤔
