Finished last week for #BobWhiteBuddies it is good timing as the book is set in Fall so it made for a good #HyggeHour last week. I didn‘t remember this one all that well so I guess I didn‘t reread it much during childhood.🤷🏻‍♀️ It takes place in Sleepyside & involves the disappearance of “Hoppy” the grasshopper weathervane on top of City Hall & the side mystery of missing coins & a new teacher‘s aide at school who ⬇️

Last night was at Feather River Hotsprings. Getting back to a half-read Lincoln Highway which I‘m absolutely loving. Loving Mary Oliver‘s Upstream as my quiet book. And could not put down The Boy in the Suitcase. Enjoying Invisible Murder, 2nd in the series. Enjoying the backdrop of life for Hungarian Romas.

Between work, my daughter‘s confirmation, and leaving for a funeral tomorrow I have been going nonstop for a week. I‘m so grateful for this hour which reminds me to wind down.

When Monday night feels Sunday night #hyggehour has bumped ahead by a day. Blue Jays game is on the radio, turkey is roasting in the oven and I‘m starting a new book with a glass of Canadian white in my glass #itsallgood #notthescore

My #hyggehour is not the calmest today, but I finally daughter to sleep, I'm all cozied up, the Blue Jays are playing and I've got a good book for company. It was a stressful afternoon, so this is just what I need!

Chaotic #hyggehour tonight. Can‘t decide what to read, my car is still in the shop, and people keep coming in to steal my snacks. Hoping to find some peace in my little corner of the kitchen.
