#LetsTravelJuly I read this series years ago, about a process server named Lew Fonesca. He left his job with the State Attorney's office in Chicago after the death of his wife, and moved to Florida where he started doing some investigative work for local lawyers in Sarasota, my #Hometown.

so-soNot the best. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one seemed slow and disjointed. Dixie drives me crazy too. For a former sheriff‘s deputy, she certainly makes some questionable decisions. Those decisions tend to put her her in life or death situations, which become sigh worthy. I‘ll try one more book in this series because I adore some of the supporting cast (yes, I‘m talking to you, Michael and Paco)!
