Pretty cute, definitely PG (not honestly even sure it qualifies as “romance”) YA read! I gotta say, though, I‘m very confused by the amount of adult-driven hype it got earlier in the year.

This book was cute! Very much YA as Lucy and Jack are highschoolers and with that comes all the teen drama. It‘s about the perfect Fall town, coffee shops, crushes and pumpkin spice lattes!

Starting this book about Fall while sitting outside in 80 degree weather…in October…in New England.

I don't know why I read an autumn book in March, but I did. It was cute, had all of the fall vibes you would want. However, something was missing to make the book truly stand out. I would have loved a bit more romance to the story. The ending just didn't hit me as much as I would have liked. But, I did find the story enjoyable.

This YA novel is a welcome read as we head into fall. I love books like this that create a perfect atmosphere within the story: the leaves, the coffee, the food, and the fun. I am a fall girlie, so this was a lovely kickoff to my fall reading stack. Grab your PSL (or drink of choice) and cuddle up for this delightful story.
