Pretty engaging on audible.
The protagonist makes me crazy with her poor me-ness which I get is character development but still. Irritating. Something I didn‘t notice when I read the book prior. Still a pick though

Beautiful end to this trilogy. Thrilling and intriguing. I'm not usually a fan of series, they usually feel too slow and I can't commit that much time to them. I listened to this one after being recommended to by a friend and I'm so glad I did. Another beautiful reading by Jennifer Ikeda.
Finally got to finish book three, I enjoyed this series, love Diana and Matthew and all the characters, what I like about this series even though it has vampires, witches and demons it has cultural diversity, a historical aspect and a good love story !

This (book 3) was by far the best of them all. It took me just under 2 months to read whereas books 1 & 2 took me 6 months a piece to read them. Lots of reading sprints helped me to get motivated to finish this one!😝
Curious about book 4 ‘Time‘s Convert‘ but, I will definitely not waste, imo, more money on this series; I‘ll borrow it from the library instead.
My second time with this book, first time reading in print. I enjoyed it even more the second time around.
I love this series so much & want to finish it this year for #SeriesLove2023 challenge. #HappyNewYear #Endings #Beginnings #Change

So🙄…made no🚫progress on ‘Portrait of a Killer..” or “Chicken Soup…”; minor pages in “The Executioner” but killed it on “The Book of Life” thanks to some amazing sprints, awesome friends and lots of power-house reading. I still am🤯over those pages (easier than figuring out the author‘s chapter schematic🙄).
Thank you😉 You know who you are😜📚🤓
Beautiful day to read by a lake in the middle of a 5 mile hike. This was on American Thanksgiving (yesterday). Thankful for this time.
Great night to read next to the fire. No more work until nex Wednesday!!!

Opening this one back up after a brief hiatus (as I‘m reading via the Trilogy Edition, the page count is ridiculous & daunting) and hoping it doesn‘t follow suit with it‘s predecessors. They both individually each took me 6️⃣months to read. Their only reason for surviving the DNF guillotiner was the fact that I paid for it🤣🤷🏻♀️
Perfect weather for a bonfire wile passing out candy. Full size at this house. Can‘t risk a trick. Happy Halloween 🎃
I'm really loving this series. It's a really nice read. I'm traveling and needing something I can set down and come back to time and time again without wanting to just stop reading all together.
Absolutely plowed through this. All the characters who got to come back! The found family of it all! Oh, my heart. #fantasy
June 9th: By Your Favorite Author ✍️
✨Deborah Harkness is such a fantastic author, and I love her #AllSouls series. She has more stories planned, but is currently fighting Ovarian Cancer. I pray she can be healed & continue the world she created.
#BookMoods #ByYourFavoriteAuthor #June9th #DeborahHarkness
This is the 3rd of the All Souls Trilogy which honestly I struggled to complete. The whole thing is boggy. Descriptions can run on and on. The vampires aren't very scary and the main character is way overpowered. And the entire premise of the story conflict - keeping creatures secret from humans - gets blown up in an unbelievable way where all the humans are totally fine with all the creatures in their midst.
Bk2 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. I was having trouble settling on a next read so decided to reread the last in the All Souls trilogy in prep for the new season of the TV series on Saturday. I love this cover so much, these editions are gorgeous with a main location on the spine & front of each book(Oxford,Elizabethan London & Venice I believe)While it was a bit disjointed, I still enjoyed the wrap up of the story arc. #BookspinBingo👇
I never expected this series to become my favorite all time - but it has and I read it every year. Look forward to my second time reading Time‘s Convert. 5 stars :)
Took a nice long bath yesterday while listening to this. Thank you again @ChrissyReadIt for the bath salts! I had temporarily “lost“ them in my attempts to clean/organize the bathroom!
Next in the series for my #AudioCommute :)

This books was SOO slow. And frustrating. And annoying. I can say without a doubt, I will never revisit this series again. But I am glad to have some semblance of a resolution.
And thank god for Gallowglass. He‘s the only character I could tolerate by the end.
#pop21 #meanttoreadlastyear
I finally finished. It felt like it took forever to read this. The beginning seemed like it dragged and dragged, but the action toward the last part of the book sped things up. While I liked it, I didn‘t love it. Gallowglass was probably my favorite character. I also really ended up liking Ysabeau. Recommended if you liked the first two books in the series.
My kind of Saturday night. 📖 🔥 🍷
But also, it‘s taking me forever to finish this book. 😬
This time I remembered to turn on my #audiobook. Another hour down on the tagged book. It‘s okay, but it‘s a little slower paced than I‘d prefer.
Still reading for the #NovelNovember #readathon. I forgot to track my hours for most of the week, but I‘d guess I‘m only around 10-12 hours anyway, since it‘s been a slow reading week. It doesn‘t look like I‘ll meet my readathon goals, but that won‘t stop me from giving it a go! :)
The number of times Matthew runs his hands through his hair in this book is becoming increasingly annoying.
I know it‘s late, but I completely spaced on this, so I‘m posting it now! 🤣
What made me smile is that I completed my first art journal. I mean, I‘ve started and abandoned them so many times, but this one is completed. I‘m really proud of myself. I also made the next one (used the sewing machine to create it and everything), and I‘ve begun work on that.
When the author talks down to me and/or explains what I know from earlier in the book.
Finally made time to get my Covid booster yesterday! 🦠 💉
I have the same side effects I had with Dose 2 (headache, chills, body aches), so giving myself permission to stay in bed this afternoon. Taking a nonfiction break to pop in and out of this one between cat naps! *Cats napping with me, but they refused to participate in any photos 😹
Book #15 of 2021 complete! I wish there was more to this series!!
It was easy to get lost in the world within these pages. I loved the plot, and I loved all the bookish things. I found the story intriguing. My favorite characters weren't actually the leads which is interesting. It was also a story about racism. (Not sure that is the right word, but species purity was a major plot point.) I loved the world building with the witches magic. I wish there had been more about the daemons. It was a great adventure.
Well by far these best of the series... I guess it was worth reading on after the first book! I hate to say it but the time apart the main characters had really enhanced the book and the series. It spent more time focusing on Diana‘s magic and the histories that the other books always kinda hinted at that. With that said has anyone read the two books after this one? I always like to finish a series but this reviews seem a bit meh... Thoughts?
I haven‘t been watching the Discovery of Witches tv show but the more into this series I get the more I am realizing how much better Gallowglass is than Matthew😬😍 #scotsman #cantsaynotoascots #gentleman #bookhubs
It took me all week, but I finally finished this audiobook. This has been as disappointing reread via audiobook of this series. I loved the trilogy 6 years ago. I didn‘t enjoy the books this time. I guess different world, different me, and this series just didn‘t work for me now. 😔

The 3rd book in the All Souls trilogy is about the aftermath of Diana & Mathews time travel.
DNF 5 this month. 3rd DNF this week. 80 pages in and i really couldn't care less about the plot (or lack of a plot). As it is, I've hated Matthew since halfway through book 1.

Square 23 ✔️
My re-read of the trilogy has ended. Now I'm just waiting for my hold to come in on the 4th book.
This one wraps things up nicely, and although I think the action is a bit rushed, I still enjoyed it as much as the first time I read it. Secrets are revealed, some characters are lost, new friends are made, and the magic takes center stage instead of the romance for once. 😉
What a rollercoster ride this trilogy has been!!!
I like this one the least, at the beginning there's so much going on that the ending feel rushed and hasty 🤔 but maybe I wasn't ready to let go of these characters..
Now, I can't wait for season2 of the TVseries❣
Another book for #bookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
My pictures don‘t do it justice but decided to order some cards to send some snail mail love to family and #litsylove peeps so ordered these from Designs by AnnaClaire on Etsy. AMAZING!!!!! Thanks so much will be ordering more!!! And I just started discovery of witches so woo hoo for me *wink:)

"and of we all did what we should, we would wake to find ourselves in paradise."

A true page turner.
