Book 3 of #spookathon

Prompt: read a book with a spooky word in the title.

A bit apprehensive going into this one as I really disliked book 2 in this series (the silkworm). I've heard good things about this one though 🤞

HELP

Give me your reading slump quick fixes guys and gals. 😭

Image: Google

vivastory I like to switch it up with a genre that I enjoy but don't often read 1w
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego YA does it for me. 1w
Deifio I usually just relax with some other hobby. If I'm not in the mood for reading, then I try to let it go and do something else. The need to read and the fun in it usually comes back in a week or two with me. 1w
See All 10 Comments
PickwickPlockPlock Try something else, like watch tv or if you do want to read, take an old favourite. Or you could try an audiobook? 1w
Palimpsest I try reading something shorter. Short story collection, novella, or poems. 1w
Linsy @Deifio might have a point. But I noticed that you like a lot of the fantasy I‘ve loved. So if you‘re looking for a read to pull you in and not let go, I‘d recommend Uprooted by Naomi Novik. Or an audiobook. 1w
my.books.in.squares @Linsy That looks good, I will check it out. Thanjs for the recommendation 🙂 1w
Linsy @my.books.in.squares Hope it helps! If not, just toss the thing aside and don‘t feel guilty 🤞 1w
my.books.in.squares @Linsy I am really enjoying uprooted so far, thank you. I got the audiobook last night to listen in bed and then seen the kindle version was only 99p so of course I got that too. It's great! 1w

I switched between the audio and ebook on Scribd. Both were amazing.

I am not big on romance but this was so much more. It made me laugh and cry.❤️

Slowly making my way through book number three in the Mistborn series. I love Brandon Sanderson's books but it takes me a while to get through them!

DaveGreen7777 I‘m the same way with Sanderson! I‘ve been going through “Oathbringer” very slowly, not because I‘m not enjoying it (I‘m loving the book), but because there is so much detail and world building, I want to savor every word! 😊 1mo
