This is the 5th book in The Court of Thorns and Roses series.
I can't wait to get into this book. The reviews are so good!

After the war with Hybern, Nesta is brought in to join a new fight against human queen, Briallyn. They‘re to find 3 troves to protect both worlds. She‘s assigned to train w/ Cassien, which causes them to not ignore the heat between them anymore.
I was really blown away by this book. I really enjoyed getting to know more about Nesta and Cassien. I loved their chemistry. I also loved the plot and the writing. Just fantastic!

like nesta. love cassian. hate how nesta looses her powers at the end of the book
"I am the rock against which the surf crashes"
A phrase used by Valkyries
Wow! So steamy! I love the Valkryie storyline! Can't wait until the next in the series gets released.
Starting this next... Does anyone know if this is just the last currently available or is this the end of the series overall? I've read conflicting things about this series.
A real roller coaster of a ride to end this series, both on terms of action and emotions. I‘m sorry to reach the end because I really enjoyed these characters. I couldn‘t figure out what picture I had that would fit, so this is a roseate spoonbill I saw on my walk the other day.
Rarely do I read two novels at the same time, but I just couldn‘t wait to start this one.
Same AMAZING story…now with an amazing new cover! I can‘t wait for the next in this series…or the next in the Crescent City series…or anything new by her to be honest!
Sarah J Maas is such an amazing writer.
Nesta was not a character I cared about but this book redeemed her
This series hasn't been my favorite by the author. But I really liked this book and that was surprising. I loved Nesta's growth and there were couple new characters who were amazing. Friendship might be the best thing for me in this book.
I loved the House and the library as settings. I think this could have been shorter, there were unnecessary repetition. This is not a book with lot of action but still enjoyable.

Thanks for the tag @Kshakal
🥚 I've definitely had a few book hangovers, after reading acotar I didn't think I could go on, but I pulled through 😂
🥚🥚Mondays are not my cup of tea, but I really enjoy Wednesdays when I get to take my sons to the library!

Finished this garbage. Not impressed.
“Rhys lifted his head. "This is a bad idea."
Cassian winked. "That should be written on the Night Court crest.””

I was so conflicted while I began reading this book on if I liked it or not but I ended up loving it. Character redemption and a lot of really feel good moments throughout this story 💛

Wow. I just finished and I now have a book hangover. #bookhangover
Love, love, love this. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Honestly, I was highlighting so much in this book. 😭💔♥️😍
⭐⭐⭐⭐
So... regardless of what I said two months ago about quitting due to too much smut, I caved and finished reading it this weekend! 😆 So, SO glad I did!!!! Yes, way too much smut, but the rest of it is beautiful. Such a good story of healing from trauma and finding hope again. ♥️♥️♥️
Nesta is broken when this book begins and slowly pieces herself back together throughout this book while exploring a relationship with Cassian and learning to let him in. To let anyone in. I do wish we had more of an active plot that was more high-stakes like the previous three books were. We had a few scenes where things had a lot of action, but I was hoping for more in this book. I already can't wait for the next book!
She turned her head so slowly, it was like watching a puppet move. Her eyes met his. Death watched him. But Death had walked beside him every day of his life. So Cassian stroked his thumb along her palm and said, “Hello, Nes”.
And this is why none of my bookmarks have tassels anymore.

The best book in this series, and the only one worth reading after the first. It‘s a shame all those other ones are required to fully enjoy this last one.
I unexpectedly loved Nesta‘s story. Her friendships with Gwyn and Emerie were heartwarming and I look forward to hearing more about their stories. As for Cassian, well, that was steamy! But the best part was certainly the House.
This was probably my favorite book in the series so far. The writing is still not excellent, but I prefer her writing from cassias and Nesta‘s point of view.
After 3 attempts to read it and finally having to download the audiobook, this one just didn't do anything for me... I'm really disappointed. Nests grew on me and I liked the female friendships, but i could have done without the Nesta/Cassian lovefest. I just could not have cared less about their relationship 🤣🤷♀️
I finally finished this huge book. Lol. It took me a long time but I pushed through the last couple days. I liked this one, had a lot more sex than I was expecting.
Wow, wow, wow! Nesta- she‘s easy to hate, selfish, vindictive, a b**** for lack of a better word lol. But this is her redemption story! Also, Nesta, Gwynn, and Emerie are my new favorite trio! I enjoyed watching their bond grow throughout the book. Nessian.. whew 😮💨🌶 it was SPICY. My favorite character was The House, of course! 😁 Rhys was an ass, and totally out of character, IMO. Idk I‘m really interested in where she‘s gonna take the series
I love this series so much, and I think this book in particular might be one of my favorites so far. 💕📚💕 While I love the characters and their relationships, I actually think my favorite aspect of this series is how it is about trauma and recovering from trauma. These books will always always have such a special place in my heart! ❤ #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #rumpel
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Beautiful, captivating, raw, honest. This book is more than I could have imagined it would be. Absolutely Wonderful!!!!! The ending had me crying, smiling, and just hoping that Sarah J. Maas will add more to this series.
Why not apply the same bravery and loyalty to yourself? Everyone deserves happiness.
-Cassian
"??? ?? ???? ??? ???? ????? ?????? ??? ?????? ???? ?????? ?????'? ????????? ????. ???? ?????."
Halfway done and Chapter 36 has by far been my favorite Chapter!!!!!
This is the redemption story of Nesta, my least favorite character in the series. The first half of the book I did a lot of cursing and teeth gnashing over her selfishness, parasitic, self-destructive lifestyle, and tendency to treat everyone who supports her like garbage, but it is still a good story of healing and second chances. I wish Maas would not have used the old "I don't deserve anyone's love" trope, but what do you do.
This Map, Sarah J. Maas really outdid herself with this upgrade!
HERE WE GO! Last Book of this series. Now I'm not a huge fan of Nesta but I do care to hear about Cassian so I am hoping this book lives up to the hype. This series has been breathtaking so far.
I cleaned up my balcony for spring yesterday, which included getting rid of my old plastic chair that I had out here. So the hubby and I went to Big Lots yesterday and found this PERFECT comfy chair and little table! Now I am even more excited for the warm weather so that I can start reading out here again!
Not one! Not two… but THREE badass females in one book!? Now don‘t get me wrong. This book was about Nesta and Cas. However. Ugh the underlying story sold me on its own. This is pure magic and I loved every single minute of it. If it was two completely different stories I would read them both over and over. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Found the pic on google. Idk who to give credit to
37% .... I know!! Why?! 😭😭😭 But I just CANNOT with the graphic sex. I mean, the previous books were steamy but this feels like WAY worse. My brain literally feels filthy. I am so upset about it because I was loving this series so much!! (I'm leaving you guys with some awesome fanart one last time. Let me go cry now.)
Started this big book a couple days ago. So far so good
