#LittensLoveRomance Ch.10-12 - there‘s nothing like a lunch with your boss‘ enemies and their snotty familiars to liven things up. Throw a sandwich at a mole and things really get exciting. Reggie is starting to believe in magic despite herself. Did Ben really curse Nick‘s BF? Is she really surrounded by witches? Is it worth the money? Yeah, probably. So long as her parents don‘t find out.
bailedI am barely into this, but the first person narration isn‘t helping the fact that Ben is an asshole and Reggie is an idiot. If I have to read some version of “my jaw flexes” more than the two times I‘ve encountered in the first 30 pages I‘m going to throw my phone across the room. The writing is stilted and the characters are cringe. The narrator makes every sentence sound exactly the same. I‘m out.
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.7-9 - Poor Reggie 😥 she‘s so lonely! She is desperate to belong somewhere and to someone - could her new boss and her magical world be that place? Of course not. Magic isn‘t real. Right? Then how come every new person she‘s meeting seems to buy into the illusion? People are putting in a lot of effort into faking her out…

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.4-6 Ben finds himself drawn to Reggie and it pisses him off. He wants her gone but can‘t bring himself to curse her as he would normally do. So he decides to prove to her that his aunt really is a witch, and that Reggie is in over her head. We learn a bit more about Ben and Dru‘s world - interesting world building by the author. I‘ve never heard of Roman witches before, have you?
#LittensloveRomance Ch.1-3 If there was ever a story about enemies to lovers this would be it. Ben and Reggie definitely don‘t have a meet cute. Reggie, neat freak and probably a bit OCD, is desperate for a job and when she gets one as an old lady‘s assistant for an obscene amount of money it seems too good to be true. But then she meets Ben, the lady‘s nephew, and her opinion of her good fortune sours a bit. Oh, and there may be smth abt witches…
