I like this series, and I liked this book (the second), but the mystery itself didn‘t grab me. The main characters are good though, and I‘ll definitely continue on. Another book crossed off my #BookSpinBingo card and the second book I read for #AwesomeAugust. I‘m in for #20in4! @Andrew65 @TheAromaofBooks

The pic is of me still enjoying a cup of coffee on this Saturday. The Colombian that @BookBosomed1 gifted me! Ohhhhh it‘s soooooo good!

Andrew65 Great 👏👏👏 5mo

This #AwesomeAugust post is so late I probably shouldn‘t even do it. Especially since I was 277 pages short on my goal. I wasn‘t exactly thrilled with my choices and that made me reluctant to read much. I have since finished most of these books and moved on to more fun reading. I‘m proud of the 723 pages I did read and look forward to next month‘s Readathon.

Thanks to @Andrew65 for hosting.

Andrew65 723 is a great total. Well done and thanks for playing along 👏👏👏🙌🥳🍾🥂😍 5mo

Based on a true story which author explains at the end of the book. HF set in 1934, we will see general view of what was happing around Jewish people before the war. The story is about how the Adler family manage/cope with the tragedy of Florence‘s death, how this tragedy affects Adlers family. It was a beautiful novel but sad. 4⭐️

Nora works to find lost people but this time will be her daughter, the one she gave in adoption. There will be a lot of drama in this suspense novel. I struggled to end it because of this drama that you didn‘t know if you were dealing with all her trauma or the novel suspense. This book was read for #LiterallyDeadBookClub and apparently they loved it😳not me. 2.5⭐️

Continuing with summer readings: I enjoyed this YA thriller. It has been in my tbr forever!😳
A group of friend went to Aruba to spend a wonderful time...with a lot of alcohol and other things. But Anna‘s best friend was brutally murdered and she is the prime suspect. She denied it. What really happened? Wow! At least I didn‘t see some twists coming. Super fast read. For a YA thriller, I think it was good. 4⭐️

A cute YA summer read!😍loved the relationship between Avery, her sister and their parents. Cheesy but perfect for me, after a drama book. Avery, her sister and parents used to spend their summer in different places. This one could be their last summer together before Avery goes to college. Their parents chose a remote camp where is no wifi. No internet for teenagers😱Avery will learn how to express herself without feeling guilty. 3.5⭐️

This is a so-so to even pan book but it was ok to me. Ro traveled from London to USA after her boyfriend decided to have a a 6 months “pause” for their relationship but with the goal to be together after the “pause”😳Really? And she accepted, what?🙄Of course things will change and she will not be the same🙌The story has a “pinch” of mystery which I liked. But is not the best story, this is an unpopular opinion.3⭐️

Hooray for #AwesomeAugust! I read the last 41 pages of Hidden Valley Road, and I met my goal of reaching the halfway point of this book!
I‘m still struggling to keep all the characters straight, but I discovered a map of the neighborhood at the front of the book and it‘s been very helpful.
Thank you @Andrew65 !
