I really enjoyed this second chance story, especially its setting on a film set. Great characters with interesting lives and perspectives really made it sparkle. Great fun! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks #romantsy

This is absolutely charming and adorable. This is book 2 in a newer series by Erica Ridley. It is on its way to being one of my favorite historical romance series. Though each is a standalone, I do recommend reading book 1 of the Wild Wynchesters first! 4.5⭐️ #romantsy

This is my last pre-holiday read! It is a much more expected romance with the storyline trope of a woman, freshly single, moving to a small (NC) town to restart her life. And as with most small town romances, there are quirky townspeople, blue-collar love interests, and a bit of holiday magic. #romantsy

Um, how should I put this, it's kind of a spoiler. Don't call a book a romance if it doesn't have an HEA. If you go in looking for a light feel-good read but leave it sobbing, what has been accomplished? I didn't sob, I was just disgusted. I outgrew the Lurlene McDaniel bullsh!t as a teen.

Strong opinions but that's how I roll.

Prairiegirl_reading With no happy ending it‘s absolutely NOT a romance!!! 3d
StayCurious Boo. With no HEA what‘s the point? Thanks for the warning 3d

ReadingEnvy @StayCurious I was so mad, lok 3d
EvieBee Okay, I had to google HEA. And now that I have, I‘d be just as mad! I still haven‘t fully recovered from Crash Landing on You. Ugh. 2d
ReadingEnvy @EvieBee when something is marketed as romance it's only requirement is that happily ever after, so I was annoyed, clearly. 2d
CarolynM I don't mind a HFN, but if there's no H it's no #romantsy 😆 2d
CoffeeAndABook Ha! Love this review 😂 I saw the cover and was about to hit „stack“ when I read the review. Pooh! No HEA - that‘s no good at all!!! 2d

Not in the database. Another revenge trope by K.A. Merikan. Shane‘s not a good guy but he‘s not really a bad guy either. There is quite a bit groveling in this one after Shane tries to follow through on his revenge. The big bad is a bit too stupid to live but I enjoyed this one and am interested to see what they do with the secondary characters in the rest of the series. #romantsy #kindleunlimited 3.5 🏍🏍🏍

Revenge trope. Zane & Roach are tied together by a curse after Roach‘s motorcycle club beats Zane before they all die. The magical element is mysterious & not fully explained which gives the book a bit of dark fairy tale vibe. Zane is pretty unlikeable & Roach is kind of pathetic. I love the morally gray characters and dark #romantsy themes in Merikan‘s works but this was not my fave. #kindleunlimited 🏍🏍🏍

The gilded age, a supper club, a chef and a rascal-what‘s not to love? This was great fun and I‘m loving the whole cast of characters. Can‘t wait for the next one! #romantsy #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

This is a fun read that is half "women's fiction" (ie: Jo has her own issues and relationships that aren't romantic) and half romance. It would have made a great beach read if it came out a bit earlier in the year! #romantsy

Just starting this gem. I‘ve heard great things about it. @Kimberlone told me it is lesbian Kate and Leopold, so I am ready. Which is not how I feel about teaching tomorrow. 💕 #romantsy

Kimberlone I hope you are loving it! As soon as I heard about this book I knew you needed to read it. 2w
