This book is inspired by When Harry Met Sally. That‘s the hook that pulled me in. Unlike some readers, I didn‘t mind the prickly beginning. Fair warning: the characters don‘t come across as particularly likable at the beginning. They start off hating each other— and for good reason. If you give them a chance and ride it out through the rough beginning, you‘ll probably love this book. I know I did. 4.5⭐️ #romantsy 💕 #NYC

slategreyskies Side note: if you make it to the end of the book, you may really enjoy reading the end notes, acknowledgments and interview. That added an additional 30 pages or so to this read, but I liked the commentary and extra tidbits. 1mo

Ha! Two women who have a brief encounter in the sapphic quarters of a Parisian brothel unexpectedly meet again at a business meeting where the power imbalance is immediately thrown off... What a fun beginning!

I only wish the publisher could have sprung for a photographic cover that featured both women. I would love to see the older, masculine presenting Latina woman who wears trousers!

Loved this m/m #romantsy about the showrunner/writer of a popular TV show and his assistant who writes fanfic about the show on the sly. Much more convincing and better written than most.

A nice, light one day read - perfect for the beach! This was very cute and a good reminder to read more Tessa Dare. #romantsy

This one was a lot of fun. The perfect friends to lovers cozy romantic read for the holidays. I really enjoyed it. I kinda wish I‘d read it on audio, though, since I‘ve heard that the characters‘ Irish accents are great. Definitely recommended as a feel-good holiday read! #romantsy ❤️

I loved these two historical romances that capture the magic of Christmas and have you rooting for the characters who are flawed yet so deserving of love. There is a reason that Mary Balogh is one of the best! #romantsy #wintergames #restinggrinchface #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
