It was a surprise to me that this was the only book I finished this month. This month was definitely a reading slump for me and I hope the last month of year goes better. #readingbracket2025

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Viv is done with the fighting. It's finally time for her to settle down and follow a dream of hers: to open a coffee shop. A few problems: No one knows what coffee is, and some old frenemies might stand in the way.

This book was everything I was expecting and more! It's cozy, intriguing, and addictive. I was completely invested and had trouble putting it down. I'm embarrassed it took me so long to finish, but this week's been hectic.

The quarter is finally over! You know what that means... I get to read instead of just doing homework!

I've heard good things about this book, and it's about time I actually started it.

I finished this book a few weeks ago, and just thinking about it now still makes me smile. I loved this book so much. It was just such a joyful adventure about building family and finding yourself.

August started off normally but around mid-month I fell into a deep slump. I couldn't seem to get through any book I started and it was so frustrating! I'm not sure I'm out of it yet but seem to be having a bit more luck with my current books. 🤞🏻 Since books weren't working for me, I switched to fanfiction and read quite a few really good explorations of some of my favorite characters. 🤗 #yayforfanfic

This was so fun! It's full of wonderful characters (my favorites are Thimble and Amity) and positivity. Just the kind of thing I needed right now. Just imagine being around for the invention of cinnamon rolls!

Didn‘t pick this up bc of its initial cover…I admit it, bad on my part! Found it with the new cover and took a chance and I loved this Fantasy that has coffee and an Orc as its main characters. So good. Coffee unites any world!:)

For my library‘s book challenge, we had to let a librarian pick out a book bundle for us. 3 out of 5 ended up being books I have read. This story was good & falls into feel-good fiction or a comfort book. Fantasy—seems like what DND fan-fiction would be, but it‘s cozy. Viv has been a killer but wants to own a coffee shop. Slowly builds a loyal found family around her. Has a villain to deal with. Descriptions of baked goods—yum! F/F romance.

I would love to visit Viv‘s coffee shop in Thune for the cinnamon rolls alone. #sundayfunday

#WondrousWednesday @Eggs 1) While I was reading this most excellent tagged book which I highly recommend, there was much smelling and drinking of coffee. I love coffee but coffee doesn‘t love me anymore. But I swear I could smell and taste the coffee while I was reading. And I started craving it. 2) One of my fondest childhood memories is of my paternal grandmother pouring some of her cream and sugar coffee into a saucer and feeding it (cont)⬇️

It was a good book! I don't normally read fantasy books so I found it hard to get into it, but it was a pleasant book to read on occasion. I probably won't continue with the series though.

Currently reading tagged book and trying to get caught up on #LitsyLove! These are the letters going out tomorrow.

I had an eye doctor appointment this morning, then spent the rest of the day helping my husband start 2 separate businesses! Such a delightful, uplifting little story. It felt like an unexpected huge that I didn't know I needed.

I forgot to post this yesterday 🤪, but there‘s just no way I can pick one favorite book from last year! I picked this book as a standout because it was a total #blameitonlitsy read (I‘m not much of a fantasy kinda girl) and I ended up loving it. Going outside my comfort zone paid off in this case!

A fun, light, easy read. It took about a chapter to get into but then I rolled right along in the world. Very wholesome and kind. A wonderful choice from my kind benefactor of the #Christmas #holiday book exchange I did last year. Thank you!!

A cozy fantasy which I guess I expected more from. It is good, just underwhelming for what I had in mind. Also, I have to point out how difficult it was for me to read it while also wanting to be gaming; all the cozy hobbies at once😹✨

This was a #blameitonlitsy read, as I kept seeing all the love it was getting, so I had to read it to see what all the buzz was about. I was not disappointed!

This was cute but I didn‘t love it that much. It was just okay for me. I know a lot of people loved this one, but I don‘t know if I would continue through the series. It was fun for one book but not sure if I want to go to the next one.

This was exactly what I expected from a book described as high fantasy, low stakes.
The book is cosy and the friendships sweet.
And I would very much like to visit this coffee shop and eat all the pastries!
