First read of the year✨
First read of the year✨
A very fitting read for these sceneries✨
Currently at work, needing coffee and spiritual pick me up✨
Got these three at a thrift store today✨ And the funny thing is that they all have to do, on way or another, with Paris as a setting… IT WASN‘T ON PURPOSE😹
Haven‘t posted in a while due to being in a reading rut, but here‘s one that I‘m slowly going through✨
Spent this weekend camping with friends, so this one seemed appropriate to start✨
Finished this one at a mall parking lot while my boyfriend took a very much needed nap😹 I liked the book in general, it‘s entertaining! I do have some issues with some of the things it mentions, with them being either forced or loosely used terms and sentences. All in all, it was fun!
First time reading an Agatha Christie book. I‘m not the kind to read much like these, but I gave it a try! This book, among other by Christie, I gave as gifts to my grandmother before she passed away in 2018. She loved mysteries, thrillers, and all that jazz, and I‘m the total opposite, lol. But I enjoyed this one and the short stories in it so much more than what I had expected. I will continue to read my grandma‘s books✨
Got a new laptop as a Three Kings‘ Day gift🤩 And obviously downloaded the Kindle app! Finished reading this one, which is a short novella and it‘s fun and cute, not really much to it. Would read it during another Christmas time, just for the fun of it✨
I‘m still in a christmassy mood✨
I wanted to bail on this one, but somehow pushed through. The mystery itself was actually good, but the whole love triangle situation was just all over the place. There were funny and interesting moments, but there was so much unnecessary stuff! Good thing it was a free ebook😅
Here‘s the thing: I liked it! I saw so many negative comments that made me think “but what did you expect?”😹 It‘s like a 3.5/5 stars, because it‘s a quick read and I found it entertaining. Predictable and some stuff seemed unnecessary, and there is a lot going on that doesn‘t make sense, but I mean, give it a try if you want something quick and Christmasy!✨
The irony that I finished this book seconds before entering a cemetery... Now, out of five stars, I give it three. There seems to be moments where the direction of this book was all over the place. Then again, I do recognize there must be hardship when writing about a real life historical event.
