Since we will not shop at Walmart, and do not feel safe shopping at Vons, we have rediscovered Walgreens.

No DVDs, yet Walgreens still stock books!

When I purchased these, the cashier was excited that a customer was buying books. She said the last selection had to be returned to the supplier because no one seems to buy books anymore!

Amiable @Leftcoastzen I was honestly trying to hold out until Caro finished the last book so I would know the series was complete before starting it but my husband pointed out that Caro is 89 now so that last book might not ever happen. And also it‘s a biography so we do actually know how it all ends. 😄 4w

Just a word of caution, my mom and I have noticed what we are calling “Ghost Shoppers.“

Every time we go shopping, we are noticing ghost shopping carts and hand baskets with food in them just left abandoned in the middle of aisles. Too many for it to seem normal.

Be cautious when out shopping. Try to not shop alone, stay away from back exits/storage room doors, and never believe someone claiming to be a so-called agent...

There also seems to be too many men walking up and down the aisles with empty baskets, or with nothing in their hands, or just buying drinks and snacks. And some of these men are giants, something my shopping center never seemed to have before in such abundance.

A farmworker, Jaime Alanís Garcia died in a hospital from serious injuries obtained after falling from a rooftop during the raid.

Warning, if you search for more about Jaime Alanís Garcia, prepare yourself mentally. I have read some of the comments made about Jaime Alanís Garcia, which left me both sad and appalled at the insensitivity and lack of empathy.

AnnCrystal A fellow protestor has stated that when a tear gas canister fell beneath a wheelchair and apparently trapped a protestor in a panic state of smoke and irritant. Professor Jonathan Anthony Caravello reached for the canister and tossed it away.

Agents claim the canister was thrown at them and that it injured one agent.

Professor Caravello was later targeted, tackled, and kidnapped by these barbarian agents and now faces serious charges.

AnnCrystal There were youths working at this farm. It has been reported that these youths were working lawful summertime jobs.

My mom said that she worked the tomato fields with her sisters at a young age, sent along with some neighbors. It has often been described as some of the best times in her life even though my grandmother kept the funds earned.

So I can only say that I hope these youths chose this work for their summer break employment.

Federal agents have yet to announce any other genuine criminals among the over 300 individuals they captured that day.

Although many of the 361 immigrants plus a few Americans have been swept away to unknown holding locations.

Unrelated to the Camarilo, CA raid.

An off duty border patrol agent, Isaiah Hodgson, 29 has been arrested in Long Beach, CA.

He followed a woman into the women's bathroom and some reports say that he pointed his gun. The woman escaped and asked for help.

This barbarian agent has been charged with three felony counts for resisting arrest, one felony count of battery on an officer, and three misdemeanor gun charges.
