...she saw her sister being thrown to the ground before being arrested and forced into an unmarked car by unidentified officers near 9th and Main Street in downtown Los Angeles.
“We dropped off my sister to go to work like we always do, all of a sudden, my mom in the rearview mirror she saw how a man went on top of her. Basically, dropped her on the floor and started putting her in handcuffs and trying to arrest her,“ ...
Although this is based on a real life event, I didn't give real life details...I wanted to capture the sum of the scene.
I've caught the news coverage twice, and believe it was a Jacaranda that the poor woman held onto.
If a Jacaranda, it's strangely symbolic. Legend has said that this tree was blessed by a Goddess.

I'm struggling a bit with staying calm 🥺🤬🤨 during all of June.
First my dad couldn't understand my mom. They had an argument because my dad couldn't understand why my mom or I wouldn't go into the neighboring town to pick up a non-necessary item for him.
My mom and I have been remaining local. Again, we're Americans. But these masked men are kidnapping Americans and immigrates and placing them in unmarked vehicles.

Prayers and Good Vibes Please for the expedite of a new California law that would:
Outlaw bounty hunters and citizens from joining in on immigration sweeps.
Only permit medical masks to protect health. Outlaw other masks on agents.
Require that agents identify their branch, and that they are indeed U.S. agents.
I do not know if this law requires vehicles to be marked.
Or if it protects Americans from being harassed/arrested for filming.

You know, when U.S. agents first began terrorizing our streets, there was one really chaotic day of protests in the city of Los Angeles.
But Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom immediately worked to deescalate the chaos.
The following days weren't pretty, but many agitators were arrested, and the days became better and better.
I fully expected for Hollywood and celebrities across the board to join the mostly peaceful “No king Protests.“

In any cave, it doesn't seem like a holiday to be celebrating during these dark days in America. Where Freedom and The Constitution of the United States along with the Bill of Rights is bluntly being challenged.

A boy, his mother and his 9-year-old sibling, originally from Honduras, were seized after the three attended their May 29 immigration hearing in Los Angeles. Attorneys try to challenge this immigration arrest of this family, who are now being held in Texas.
“The Guardian“ identified this mother as “Ms Z.“

Earlier in June 2025
In Huntington Park, CA a 28-years-old U.S. citizen, pregnant with twins, encountered ICE agents who were looking for her undocumented husband.
The woman, who is due in November, said the agents busted into her bathroom while she was in the shower, demanding that she come out without giving her any privacy.
“I feel like a criminal now,” she said. “I felt humiliated. I‘m pregnant. I‘m scared. I‘m shaking.”

Immigrant, Yuriana Julia Pelaez Calderon, who goes by the name Juli,
was taken by “POSSIBLE“ federal agents, who were masked and unidentifiable, on Wednesday, June 25. She was brought down to the U.S. border at San Ysidro and is now being held in a warehouse of both male and female captives until she agrees to self-deport.
