I had a funny thought come into my head at midnight last night and I wanted to write a haiku about it. I made myself laugh when I wrote this last night. I couldn‘t make my mom laugh about it because she was asleep but I can still tell her about it so she can laugh too. It‘s inspired by this background I‘m using that has only swim suit bottoms on it.

This afternoon I went to the Maryland All State Community Band concert. It was a wonderful performance by a group of dedicated adult amateur musicians. They played a total of five pieces with an interesting range of styles and moods. I wrote about for the #haikuhive and #haikuaday

I made a detailed plan for my vacation. But I'm glad I was willing to let go of my plan and accept what came my way. I saved a hundred bucks or so because the hostel I booked asked if I could stay in a bunk instead of a semi-private room. My hostel ended up being right across the street from my parents' hotel, so I was able to get free parking. And I stumbled upon some great restaurants by just wandering. 🩵🩵🩵
