Just me and my potter memes, again 🙃🤣
Just me and my potter memes, again 🙃🤣
I‘m rereading HP as the illustrated editions are published and the illustrations are amazing and adds to the story.
After last book‘s ending, HP has spent the summer with the Dursley‘s and with hardly any contact with his friends and Sirius, he‘s feeling alone. HP has reached 15 yrs and is also a moody teen.
For me this book is about friendship and how your true friends are the ones that are there in the hard times.
Just finished this audiobook!!!! Loved it!!! Love the characters!!! Harry can't get a break from everything that is going on. I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars!!
I would love to join the pen pal group. @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks #litsylove
YESSS! Once I get them all … readathon! 😁 This is a heavy book!!
Reread it and loved it again!
My reading for the first day of #fabulousfebruary
Okay, they‘re not real books, but I had to take a picture before I pack them all away for the move. ⚡️❤️💛💙💚⚡️
I was give given a 'book nook ' kit for Christmas. I've spent the entire weekend painting and assembling. It was not easy, but I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Adorable ☺️
Now I need to find a home for the books I had to displace!
What do you do on shitty weeks? Listen to Potter at bed and on your commute, stream it while you work from home😂 Christmas night left much to be desired and it has gone down from there. Kiddo is having the worst week in the history of ever 😂🤦♀️ hoping switching to the big boy bed Sunday helps!

Probably one of my least favorites from the entire series which is why it took me ages to finish. Harry & Hermione are SUPER moody. Tensions are high and don‘t get me started on Umbridge. Still a good book in a fantastic series. It‘s the in between for me of transition. Can‘t wait (eventually) for Half Blood which is my second favorite 😍
One of my favorite moments below ⬇️
Here‘s my review for a book I finished reading tonight. I didn‘t think I would finish this book as fast as I did. I‘m going to start book 6 next.
Today, I‘m sharing my reading progress. I listened to Chapters 14 through 21. Now, I have 12 hours left in the audiobook.
Finished yesterday so only a few days late 🥳
Minion didn't mind the wait as long as he gets his advent chocolate 😋 😂
Tonight, I‘m sharing my reading progress. I finally got back to reading this book again. I had 21 hours left in the audiobook before and now, I have 18 hours left. I‘m making progress but I feel like I‘m making slow progress because I haven‘t been reading this book every night but also, this is a long book. This audiobook is 24 hours long so it might take awhile for me to finish it.
Tonight, I‘m sharing my reading progress for a book I‘m currently reading. I listened to this book tonight while playing Candy Crush on my phone so I made a lot of progress in this book and I made it up to level 860 in my game. It‘s been a long time since I played this game but I‘ve started playing again.
I started this book after finishing the 4th book but I forgot to post my reading progress for this book. I haven‘t listened to any more of it since then. I didn‘t read any of it on Thanksgiving or Black Friday. I‘m not going to read any of it tonight either but I‘m hoping to get back to reading more of this book soon. I really enjoyed what I‘ve listened to so far. I want to know what happens next in the book.
It's Lego building season again. 🦅🔥
I'm traveling and for the past few days I've been in Seattle. It's been such a long time since I experienced cold weather in the fall. I'm loving it and exploring the city on for had given me time to finally finish the 5th book in the Harry Potter series. I kid you not, I've been listening to this for over a year.
The first half was a no go because of the whinging Teen Harry spouts. The second half was more enjoyable but not the escapist fun it would have been if I wasn‘t comparing Umbridge to M Taylor Green.
The fifth installment of the Harry Potter series is a personal favorite. We learn more about why Harry and Lord Voldemort are strongly connected and get a firmer grasp on the realities of a world where the dark lord has returned.
In honor of its release day this past week
My #OminousOctober today is the 5th illustrated HP! Biggest one so far! 😍

This book is amazing! I definitely would not read this in a classroom, but would have it in the classroom and have it be given as a choice for high level readers (with parents permission)
This book is probably my favorite of the series. I know a lot of people find it annoying how whiney Harry is in this book, and the end is a bit depressing. But I think this one has some peak Sassy Harry moments. Plus Harry and the others are finally far enough into their magical studies that their abilities can really start to be showcased. There is quite a lot that hits you right in the justice feels, but also a lot of very satisfying comeuppance
Even though this is my least favorite in the series, it is still a stunning illustrated version! #potterhead
Gorgeous! The illustrated edition came today!
First and foremost, I'm THRILLED to be spending my evening revisiting this wonderful story with this lovely new book. (And, pleeease, book gods, don't let anything stand in the way of the last two illustrated books 🙏) But, and maybe I'm nitpicking, do the illustrations seem a little less magical this time??
It‘s here!! (And heavy!!)
I had originally planned a much more #bookish tattoo for my birthday. Plans had to change when my artist cancelled 24hrs before my appointment. While it wasn‘t my original plan at all The Order of the Phoenix was a great book and I‘m absolutely in love with this abstract beauty now perched on my arm forever.
Pain and Suffering. I forgot just how much Harry Goes Through It in this one. And Umbridge! Less evil than Voldemort, sure, but SO awful nonetheless. Possibly because she's so realistically terrible. #reread #childrenslit
Feeling a bit daft because I just realized that Ron probably means km/h and not mph... 🤦♀️🇺🇸😩
Up next on audio! 🎧
Continuing my Harry Potter reading challenge that I started for myself. First time reading the series, only have watched some of the movies. So far this book is similar to the movie 🎥 and I like it. Love the narrator of the audiobook.

Saddest book in series so far

My dear friend Maggie‘s new HP ⚡️ bookshelf. Last Tuesday she helped me do big city prep for my small city wedding on Thursday.
I mentioned in my reviews of the previous 4 books in the series, I am rereading these after some time. This one was pretty good. I had forgotten so much of the content of this book. It felt like a surprise again which was a treat. I read It fairly quickly too which was not the case the first time around. I enjoyed the series of course and look forward to now reading book 6.
