I always have something in my ears when I go to sleep, & while I've read the HP series multiple times, I've never listened to them. I'm slowly making my way through Jim Dale's narration, sometimes no more than 15 minutes a night before I drop off to sleep. This is one of my favorite series, so all books are 5 ⭐ for me.
I keep forgetting to post here so now I‘m working on getting caught back up.
This was just as good as every other time I‘ve read it.
I made it through! Honestly, I do not see how this novel works after being scrubbed of the fic. The emotional weight of it relies entirely on feelings readers bring to it from HP. Genuinely, nothing here for me. Very curious to see the wider world's reaction to Alchemised but I don't think I'll be reading it. I don't trust that the publisher invested in the editorial work this would have needed to stand on its own (if that edit were possible).
Both my daughter had their dance performances last night. My oldest “F” was in a Harry Potter Scene and my youngest “S” was in an Inside Out Scene. Both did amazing! 🤩 Proud Mama! 🥰
Thank you to my Mother In-Law for lending me her Harry Potter collection! I finally finished the first one tonight & can't wait to begin the second one! I adore the films and I have a feeling I will adore the books just as much, if not more! 🥰
Since I featured Molly Weasley on Mother‘s Day, it only makes sense to feature Arthur Weasley on Father‘s Day. He particularly shows his paternal energy in Order of the Phoenix. #sundayfunday

1. I think it was Deathly Hallows.
2. I don't pre order anymore. If i did, it would be series though. I just wait to buy them once they come out in paperback. If I have to read the book right away, I'll usually borrow it through Libby/Library/KU then buy it later.

My ode to a book hangover — who knew there was an actual word for this? So cool. (Nothing makes me feel a book hangover more than when I finish my Harry Potter reread every year or two!)
Take me back to that
