I enjoyed this book! Excited to read the rest of them!!
Not a dull moment. I enjoyed this book.
Like any other book, I began to read this not knowing what to expect... but damn, that‘s one heck of a way to keep you on the edge of your seat. Even if you‘re not into murder mysteries, this book WILL convert you. It also gives you a twist ending, & when you think you might have figured it out, think again because there‘s a twist ending on top of that! It‘s one of those adrenaline-inducing reads.
Good, easy read. Didn‘t want to put the book down to get to the twist at the end! I generally like books in series so I‘m eager to read the rest!
I picked this up on the recommendation of one of my coworkers. She was right! I really enjoyed it even if it‘s a little dated. I‘ll definitely be reading the next one!
#NovemberByTheNumbers #day12 Finding a book with the number 12 on it in my library was beyond me tonight, so I‘m going with two James Patterson novels that I forgot I even had. Pretty sure I read these over 12yrs ago as well! #PattersonByTheDozen #ADozenWaysToDie #DirtyDozen
Thanks to #ANDITSAUGUST I've realized I need to read more books with strong female friendships! The women's murder club books were the only ones I could really think of. The plots of these books have been getting ridiculous of late, but the@four main characters are always there for each other. #Girlfriends
At first this book has me confused, I couldn't understand why it started out with a suicide attempt but then as I read the book it became pretty clear why and I will admit that if I had been in Lindsay's shoes I might have done the same thing if the man I loved was murdered by a psycho like Chessy. But to see Nicholas Jenks get killed in the end really made the book for me. The chemistry between the women of the Murder Club is fantastic.
Not the greatest book I have ever read. The concept is an interesting one. Women friends in law enforcement, the law and the news brainstorm cases together. It just felt fake, the dialogue was just at some points ridiculous. I will try another in the series that is co-written with a female author with the hopes that it gets better.
#Riotgrams #day6 #NumberTitles I found these on my shelves, the only number titles I could find. Have no idea what they're about, I have no memory of reading them. Knowing James Patterson, I assume there's lots of dead women in them. Yep, just looked at the description and lots of murdered women. These are the first two in his Women's Murder Club series.
Thanks Goodreads, but I don't think that's quite the same thing... 👍🏻
Finished! And the 2nd book has been ordered :) I really enjoyed this. I had so many ideas about who was guilty and and doubts about characters and was wrong. I love it when that happens! :)
Loving this so far, and I love that's it's such a big series too! :)
