While it was fun to be back in this world again, the pacing was a little off and the plot seemed like it was disorganized. It was a funny and creative book, but not the work of genius that the first two books in this series were. It's still a pick and I enjoyed it.

MittenGirlPeach @bookish_wookish ah, you‘re so right. I do library, thrift books, and BOMC. I love to share my books with a few best friends and my sisters-in-law, who are all big readers. I missed that when I stopped buying, so that was a big part of joining BOMC. But libraries are the best. 1mo

KT1432 I‘m definitely getting Cursed Daughters. I‘m interested in the bottom 3 too but trying to buy less and use the library more for books I don‘t HAVE to have as I‘m running out of shelf space lol. 1mo

A novice monk is forced to steal. Then murders start. Is the legend of a novice who started off stealing and ended up committing murder until he was dragged down to Hell by his victim's ghost being re-played in real life?

Lots of twists and turns, so many in fact I'm not sure I fully understood how all the different threads fitted together even with the final explanations.
