1st to Die | James Patterson

@Clwojick shared her StoryGraph #MostReadAuthors this morning so of course it made me curious about mine. Thanks to the Women‘s Murder Club series James Patterson and Maxine Paetro top the list. Since I‘m only half way through the series I assume they will continue to dominate in 2022.

jb72 Goodreads used to have that feature. I miss it, but the last time I checked my most read author was Dr. Seuss. 2y
Clwojick I bored of the majority of James Patterson series quickly, but the Women‘s Murder Club is definitely the best! I have to get back into it, as I‘m only 10 in and have 13 to go! 😆 2y
Clwojick Just checked out my most read authors of all time, ans James Patterson won with 137 🫣 I always forget how many books he‘s written. 2y
ShananigansReads @jb72 they did! Sucks that they took it away. I think my all time most read is Christine Feehan 2y
ShananigansReads @Clwojick he has over 700 books. My cousin and I marveled over the sheer number. 2y

#MostReadAuthors @Clwojick

Fun game! Mine are mostly AuthorAMonth and other buddy reads and book club picks. But I'm all over the place so no surprise I'm topping out at 3.

Clwojick I‘ve heard such good things about Barbara Kingsolver, but I don‘t think I‘ve read anything by her! 2y
FelinesAndFelonies I just read Prodigal Summer. I ordered most of her backlist and her upcoming book. 2y
vlwelser @Clwojick This is the first one I read and I still think it's my fav. 2y
vlwelser @FelinesAndFelonies I didn't know she had a new one coming. 🕵👀 2y
FelinesAndFelonies Yes! Demon Copperhead! It comes out in October. I am swearing to myself that I will read The Poisonwood Bible next month. My best friend loved that one too. It just looks so thick in hard cover that I'm intimidated. 2y

Payback | Fern Michaels

This is the first year that I‘ve used StoryGraph along side Goodreads to track my reading, and I think my favourite part about the stats section is the Most Read Authors graph.

Now I‘m curious to see what authors everyone else is reading the most of this year so far, and the authors you think will end up on top at the end of the year. 🤗🤩 If you have StoryGraph please share your #MostReadAuthors and tag me! 🤍💕

Clwojick I‘m pretty sure I‘ll end the year with Fern Michaels on top since I‘ve been devouring her Sisterhood series lately. 2y
NovelGirl82 I don‘t think mine is showing all of my authors since it‘s not showing all of my books. I have no idea who will end up on top this year, but I think it will probably be Ellie Alexander because I‘m reading so many cozy mysteries this year! 2y
Graciouswarriorprincess I love Ellie Alexander! Are you part of her Tuesday cozy group? @NovelGirl82 (edited) 2y

NovelGirl82 @Graciouswarriorprincess I‘m not, but I follow her and interact on IG a lot! I‘m making my way through the Bakeshop and Sloane Krause series both now! (edited) 2y
sherri Ooh! I didn't know anything about StoryGraph. Just downloaded. Guess I know what I'm playing with today! 2y
Clwojick @sherri I definitely still suggest keeping Goodreads, and using both until you figure out what works best for you. I love all the graphs and charts, as well as the reading challenges in StoryGraph, but I still tend to go to goodreads as my main tracker. I‘ll probably continue to use both. 2y
PageShifter Goodreads had also stats about your most read authors at some point but they took it away. It wasn't yearly, only cumulative but still. 2y
