pickA mediocre angel stops by to perform a Christmas miracle and ends up raising a bunch of zombies to wreak havoc on an unassuming small town. Just enough of a creep factor to be horror but so much fun! Happy to finish this as my first book of 2022!
Catching up on this absolutely hysterical book!! Christmas was so busy and then I took the covid fall after all this time so quarantine is time to catch up!
so-soThis book started out strong for me and had me interested and laughing as Moore describes this small town and its bizarre residents and Christmas traditions.
It all kinda fell apart at the end though and turned into a hot mess.

1. Ok, The Stupidest Angel may not be quite old enough to be considered a classic, but I have been listening to it every holiday season for so long it seems classic to me.

so-soPeople have recommended Christopher Moore to me for years and I finally read one of his books. One of my coworkers recommended it to me.
I can definitely see his appeal. I think there were a couple of funny posts but I don't know that it's for me.
I'll read another one to be sure.
pick🎧 So. I have no idea why I‘m reading this during Spooktober. Oh wait, “terror”? I‘ve had this little hardcover book forever. I just couldn‘t get into it. Then there was a Hoopla audio loan and I listened as I was doing laundry today. 😁😆😆😆😂😂🤣Well it‘s lowbrow, breaks the 4th wall with the narrator and tons of thinly veiled sexual innuendo (not really veiled at all). Watch out for ... everything? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Listened to the tagged while finishing up another puzzle. Usually listen to it at Christmas, but felt like a good time for some reason. Enjoying it as always. 😊

Summer in Australia means Christmas & my favourite Xmas read is The Stupidest Angel by Christopher Moore & it has to be the audiobook which is hysterically funny. The angel Raziel is sent to Pine Cove to grant a childs Xmas wish. The kid has witnessed what he thinks is Santa being murdered so Raziel ends up resurrecting an entire graveyard of zombies that attack during Xmas Mass. #25Etsy

pickThis book is a hilarious genre-crossing holiday treat! Part paranormal, part romance, part action, and part zombie apocalypse mixed with some bawdiness and laugh-out-loud jokes. Also the audiobook is amazing: narrator is fabulous and creative, and there are periodic Christmas music interludes. Check this one out if you want an off-kilter Christmas story.

I just did the funnest thing - a book tasting! The Tacoma Public Library put this on, & it was great - holiday-themed, with 4 tasting stations (tables), with books & treats on all. I‘d love to do this again 😊❤️📚
