Decided to squeeze in one more…loved this holiday short story!
#christmasinjuly
Finished this one by the skin of my teeth for #christmasinjuly! Shepard, a pop star whose career has crashed and burned, hasn‘t been able to write songs since. Tyler, a music teacher who dreams of a singing/songwriting career but has a horrible case of stage fright, has always lived in the shadow of her older sister, a famous country singer. Can music and holiday spirit bring these two together? Cute little story but I wasn‘t invested.

The 5th and last in the series. Eve and Patrick are a great couple. I've really enjoyed their time travel adventures.
A cute second chance at love story with A Christmas Carol vibes!

So cute! Kate signs up for 12 holiday-themed dates with 12 different men through a specialized dating service. Some of the dates are disasters (but funny), and some are promising. But her true love may have been in front of her all along. Yes, this is predictable but totally delightful!

When the annual Christmas party ends in disaster, Lyla owes her nemesis and co-ceo Mason Klaus a favor. She certainly doesn't expect that favor to be that he magically whisks her away to a Christmas lover's dream village where it turns out Klaus is more than a last name. This was such a fun, whimsical holiday romance.

A shame this has a very poorly aged plot device -- the heroine thinks the hero is “touched in his attic“ -- because it's otherwise charming.

Two men shopping on Christmas Eve at the famous Tiffany‘s in NYC have a mix up with their bags. One bag contained a charm bracelet and one a very expensive engagement ring. Basically, this is a story about best laid plans, and how the universe can have a very different plan for you. I wanted to like this more than I did. It was okay, but repetitive, and the 4 major characters were all not so great. 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe the adaptation is better?
The cards have been shuffled for August and we'll have Christmas this month!
Beat the heat with the holiday romance genre!
I've got “Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor“ on hold at the library for me.
