Even though I'm terrible at posting I loved the inspiration to read lots of holiday books and lots of non-holiday books. Tagged was my last read of the year (bc Murderbot). Thanks, team!

My geography loving kid absolutely loved this book. Every night we read about a few different traditions from different countries. We noticed some patterns, like a lot of traditions steam from winter solstice pagan rituals to drive out darkness and evil spirits with bringing light (candles/fires/twinkle lights) and noise (caroling, parades, music) And it had lots of the word find words. #wintergames @Clwojick #teamevergreen

This has amazingly beautiful prose. Lovely nature descriptions. I could not put it down and read it in one sitting. Have some peaches ready. I only had peach jasmine jam from the advent calendar but it was a perfect pairing with the book. Highly recommend. #wintergames #teamevergreen @Clwojick
