#nonbookrelated I am usually the LAST person on earth to post a selfie, I can't produce a smile that doesn't look fake, but I wanted to show my new glasses. My old pair broke during the pandemic, so I've been half blind for months. Didn't affect my reading, thankfully, because I'm nearsighted. Best part, they were a Christmas gift from Office Depot, so I didn't have to pay for the doctor's appt. or the glasses themselves.

On January 1 I started a new diet, I gave up bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, fast food, soda and processed sugar. I exercise more and I've decreased my carb intake. I started at 240 pounds. I weighted myself this morning and I'm excited to say I'm down to 210 pounds!!!

Andrew65 Well done! 👏👏👏 I did similar in the Summer giving up cakes, biscuits, fast food, takeaways, fizzy drinks, and trying to reduce carbohydrates. Amazing the difference it makes, lost a lot of weight and feel better in myself. 6y
