Pumpkin patch best friends Deja and Josiah, are working their last day together. Josie has for 3 yrs been talking about the same girl at the patch. Deja has decided that on their last working day, it‘s time for Josie to finally talk to her. This leads them on an adventure through the patch.

1. Yes. I bought a bunch during prime day when it was on sale. I make treat bags each year with candy and favors. So I usually start buying stuff starting in August whenever it goes on sale.

My first graphic novel. Two teens work together every autumn at a local pumpkin patch attraction. This Halloween will be their last as they go off to college.
They reminisce about the times they‘ve worked together and want their last night to be an adventure.
Graphic novels like this aren‘t my thing but it definitely gave autumn/Halloween vibes. It was beautifully illustrated, the story focused on friendship and connections with memories.

Do you ever read a book and forget to post about it on Litsy? I noticed recent reviews of this cutie graphic novel and didn‘t see the “read” icon showing that I have logged this here. Anyhoo, I read this years ago but I just took a picture of it with a festive quilt at our library‘s current quilt show. And I can say even after at least 3 years, I remember this book and loved the cozy, fallish vibes. So here‘s my years-delayed review.

I have read this every October since 2019. It‘s sweet and fun and I just love Deja and Josie. It‘s a graphic novel that just feels like Autumn. You can practically smell the pumpkin patch and the fair foods. Mmm. Now I want s‘mores and kettle corn.

HOW CUTE WAS THIS?!?! 🎃😍 I really enjoyed this quick little graphic novel. The artwork was lovely and the humor had me chuckling and laughing out loud throughout. I think I might actually die if I never get to have a Pumpkin Bomb. Please tell me that‘s a real thing somewhere!
