Finished this one about a week ago. This is the 5th book in the series and mostly follows V and a surgeon Jane. These books all have kind of weird endings for me. They‘re romance so they have a slight HEA, but a weird HEA.

So much tragedy in this one. I was so excited for John to finally reach his transition (becoming an adult male), but there was still so much sadness in the milestone for him. He got his father‘s/his diary, so that he at least feels like he has a connection to someone. He‘s so adrift in this book. At least he‘s got Blay and Quinn now. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

We‘ve had this discussion, too. “Free will” is a bit of a misnomer. You only have as much “free will” as your gender, sex, sexual identity, socioeconomic status, religion, location, etching grant you. Freedom for one is not freedom for another.

This is me 100%!!! 😂🤣😂 If I‘m going to talk to you and tell you anything, I‘ve got to know you‘re not going to take what I say, craft it all into a dagger, and then plunge it into my back. I‘ve been burned WAY too many times, even by so called councillors/therapists. PAAAAAAAAASS.

This book is amazingly philosophical. I know we‘ve had the free will discussion, and we‘ve had the discussion on how “eternal life” devalues life itself. Now let‘s put them together. If you already “know” you‘re going to “die and go to heaven,” do you have free will anymore?

I continue to be shocked that I haven‘t gotten bored with this series yet. Each story is so different while being so similar. Love it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is one of my least favorite books out of the series. I did not like the kidnapping part and then them falling for one another. Also, there was barely any action in this book and no really evil person in it. So, that bummed me out. I did like having the POVs of Phury and John.

Lots of unexpected twists and turns with this one. It was great. I ended up with more respect for Vishous because he fell for a more dominant woman. Question, how is it these big, bad, biker-like vampires meet someone and fall happily in love for life in an instant? That does seem unrealistic. Most vampires wait until at least the third bite in real life.

Ok! With this one we are back on track. I loooove this series, but the last book was not my favorite. This one tho....😁. The end was kind of a shocker. Not at all what I expected.

I really love these books. The vampire world that Ward has created is amazing. These books follow the Black dagger brotherhood. Each book focuses on a brother and tells his story. If you love vampires, love romance and love a good fight check out this series

Coming down with a cold 😷🤧 so I‘m crashing early tonight with my book. 📖Vishous was my favorite brother during my first read through of this series. We‘ll see if that holds true.

Day 7 #sisforseptember subject is #steamy and I have plenty to pick from. But I went with my newest (started reading her last year) author obsession, J.R. Ward, and from the first book focused on my favorite Brother, Vishous. Who doesn't love a super smart, brooding dom!?! 😆

Another great installment of BBD. I think one of the reasons I've liked this one best is the lack of a perspective from the Lessers. I think they are a bore even though I know the BBD needs an enemy.

I'm going to have a book hangover for quite some time after this one I think. Wow. Just wow. This one punched me in the gut....hard!!

Finally getting back to this series. Chapter one had me hooked right away. When you spend all day working on a computer and have the kindle app open, work tends to suffer .

Ahh, I finally got the hardcover version of Lover Unbound and my #jrward #shelfie is now complete. My only annoyance is that my Lover Enshrined copy was apparently a different edition and is slightly smaller. Oh well, next gift card might fix that issue. For now, I'm happy with my shelf of #hardcover #bdb books. 🤓🤓
