I loved this Discworld novel about Music with Rocks In.
A mystical guitar bought in an alley shop takes three unsuspecting musicians on a crazy ride, as they invent the Disc‘s version of rock music.
Death and his granddaughter Susan feature in this one, as well as Ridcully and the wizards, Dibbler, and many new characters. Super fun!
Lying in my bed feeling sick and and listening to Soul Music and (even though I've read it before) I've only JUST realised the joke behind everyone constantly asking Imp if he's elvish! 🤣🤣🤣
1. Soul Music- Terry Pratchett 🙂🙄😂
2. Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse, Prince, Beth Hart, Rising Appalachia, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Led Zeppelin, Tori Amos. . . The list goes on. I'll stop now 😂
3. Recently, P!Nk, with my mom.
4. Precious Things by Tori Amos
Black as Night - Nahko and Medicine for the People

I absolutely love Terry Pratchett‘s Discworld novels and this one is probably my favourite. These books make me laugh out loud whenever I read them. Also, Death is one of my favourite characters- so endearing! I love this so very much 😍😍. I have a few of these beautiful hardcover editions, but not this one. It‘s very high on my wish list!
My new outdoor table & chairs, I LOVE IT! Read for a little bit this afternoon at it before heading over to my in-law's house (where I crafted this masterpiece while football is on 😂)
Not only did my lovely Dad bring up the two boxes of books I had stored at his place, he also helped me bring my new bookcase home! Can't wait to put it together tomorrow!
It's called Music With Rocks In 😄 and it was so so great. There were so many great puns about band names or song titles, although I possibly missed a lot of them 😇
Pratchett is just so clever with his references. This book firstly has the characters saying "We're on a mission from Glod ", and then there's this bit of hilarity referencing 'Wayne ' s World'.
Random tidbit: My mom's name is Susan and she has told me before how much she doesn't like her name. The really funny part about reading this passage though, the fact that my mom makes the best sandwiches, always keeps a level head in difficult situations, AND is definitely able to reliably look after other people's children 😂 Wonder if Terry had a Susan in his life too?
Stupid words.....But said, nonetheless. And if they're said with the right passion and the gods are feeling bored, sometimes the universe will re-form itself around words like that. Words have always had the power to change the world.
Be careful what you wish for....
Because, perhaps, something could be drifting through the universes, and a few words by the wrong person at the right moment may just cause it to veer in its course...
