Kangaj1 This is awesome! I have two kids with sensory processing disorder, and we did so much of this when they were younger. 3y

Expanding the theme of spatial awareness/relationships, this book is your invitation to a table where space is unlimited and every voice can be heard. Because when you open your life to the wild beauty of every unique individual, you'll discover your own colorful soul and the extraordinary, abundant heart of God. Who‘s missing in the spaces you live in?Make room for your own kids and others who need you and your open heart. #proprioception

When strange lights in the sky cause the majority of the population to be #blinded, murderous plants (some kind of giant walking rhubarb, if this still from the 1981 TV series is anything to go by) start taking over Britain.

Eggs Yoiks!! Good one! 3y
Bookwomble This was a typically low-budget BBC adaptation, so "walking rhubarb" is fair ? The cast, however, were fantastic and I have a great affection for this series. It helped that some of the best scenes were filmed at the locations described in the book. 3y
TheEllieMo @Bookwomble yes, I am being very tongue-in-cheek, I do have much affection for this series, it‘s one of those that is still with me, even almost 40 years later. I read the book because of the series. 3y
Bookwomble @TheEllieMo I'm never quite sure if Littens are UK or USA based, which (prejudiced though it is) colours my reading of certain posts 😊 I loved John Dutine in this show. 3y
TheEllieMo @Bookwomble He was superb; I know he‘s had a long a varied career but for me, he and the series are synonymous. I‘m going to have to dig out both the book and the series for a re-read/watch. 3y

#SeptemberSenses Day 30: One needs to have good #ProprioceptionBodySpatialAwareness to do yoga. I enjoyed in particular how each pose magically transforms each individual into a Low Crow, an Eagle, or even a roaring Lion exhaling all the exhaustion from out of one‘s throat. There is also the quiet power of nature as portrayed in twisting and convoluted poses. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-cqw

Monica5 Yoga is so hard. Those poses can get me sometime 😂 3y
