I always say that my mom is not a reader, which is unfair, because she read alot in years past to teach my brother and I...and if you place a history book, a geographic book, an old tome, or somekind of info. book in her hands, she will still become glued within seconds.
Me, I'm terrible. If it doesn't have legends or mystical written into the text, I get bored...quickly 🤔👀🤗.

pickI enjoyed reading this, but I don‘t know why. Maybe it‘s because of the action and the dragons. I‘m not sure what the reasoning behind making Violet like Mr. Glass in the Unbreakable movies is, but her physical limitations got old. Between her bones breaking and constantly popping out of her joints, I‘m not sure how she finds the time to be the chosen one, but she does. 🙄 Regardless, I enjoyed the world Yarros creates!
pickThe silly, spicy romantasy fun continues, this time following the dragon shifter Dante as he attempts to find his mate. Of course, when he does, there are complications, and hijinks ensue.
Filled with the same delicious mix of humor and heart as the previous books, this was another fun little read!

pickI really didn‘t think I would like this series but I am hooked.
Just starting this one. It opens a week after ‘Stargazy Pie‘. It‘s odd (or maybe it‘s a fad) that they address each other as ‘Mr Greewing‘ and ‘Mr Dart‘ when they‘re only just out of university and have been friends from school. I‘d like to read the story of Mrs Etaris‘s youth; I wonder if it‘s told in one of the books in this series? Every chapter title is someone having an idea.

pickMy mom was looking for something on KU that “has dragons.” We both were unimpressed by FOURTH WING (dragons were great, everything else…not so much) and we thought we‘d like something that was not too intricate in its world-building. And *bam!* we found this series - Mom already finished them all! Great story that you can get caught up in, simple as that. Plot, 3-dimensional characters. Best books ever? Nope. Happy to be reading them? Heck yes.
