bailedI tried but just couldn‘t finish this book. She writes like how I feel a squirrel would think…just here there and all over the place. I‘m sure it was great for her to get out all of her feelings and emotions but the book really needed a better editor to help her make this work.

I‘m about 80% through Iron Flame! I‘ve seen a few spoilers and such bc well that‘s just me being nosy 😏 bc I‘m a slower reader & I‘m curious. This was our book clubs read for October! Today we met again at a local winery (mango wine slushy pictured, delicious!) to discuss this great book. Everyone seemed to love the book and we had a great discussion about all the crazy twist and turns throughout! Our next pick is Go As A River by Shelley Read. Excited for our next month‘s meeting!

pickI absolutely loved this book! It wrapped up things quite nicely for the story that had been building throughout the trilogy. I loved being back in this world as Evangeline navigated all the things thrown her way. I also loved the hint of potential new books in this world at the end.

So my day consisted of running some errands, cooking a fabulous clam linguine for lunch & a huge pot of veggie soup for dinner.
