I enjoyed this book a lot. It was engaging, funny and exciting every step of the way.
I was quite satisfied with the movie too, although it wasn't as good as the book obviously.

#WorstRead2024 @CSeydel
There are several more hours left in the month, but I'm sure the worst read of March was "The Mars House".
DNF @5% - was annoyed by the lack of scientific knowledge and just couldn't deal with the obvious bigotry and racism.
I've read several honest reviews about the book and am certain this is the last of her books I've tried to read. I'll fondly remember The Watchmaker of Filigree Street and might, one day, re-read it, though I'm afraid the 'suck fairy' got to it while it was sitting on the shelf.
I loved this novel. I haven't read a Man vs Nature story in a long time and this was a very interesting spin on it. I do think some characters lacked characterization but they all felt unique in their own right. I love how everyone came together in the end and different parties working towards the same goal. It really made me feel hope for humanity. Great read.
Half way done with this book already and it does not cease to make me laugh every time.

Progress:
I am officially caught up with Murderbot ✌🏻 keeping with the Sci-Fi theme I started The Martian this past Friday and am loving it. I have wanted to read it for a while and I am glad I came around to it, finally. Looking forward to another week of good reading.
The series continues to be strong commentary on what happens when profits and politics, even conflicting personal philosophies and ethics, influence science and government.
I loved all the insights into the particular challenges that might arise in terraforming Mars. 1/?
