Pickpick

This was a quick read but full of heart. I loved the main character and the people around her. Though Restrepo touched on the topic of immigration, she also mentioned racism, gang initiation, and losing faith in God. I give this 4 ⭐️.

Pickpick

This was my book pick for #Round17 of #LMPBC for #GroupH, and that‘s pretty much all I‘m going to say about it here. 🤣 I don‘t want to give any spoilers away to my reading buddies. I will say that it‘s a 5-book series, and I did enjoy it. 4/5⭐️

@BookwormAHN it‘ll be headed your way the latter part of next week. I‘ll let you know when to keep an eye out. 👀

BookwormAHN Okay, looking forward to it. 2w

The power and internet went out at our school. As soon as the kids went home, I went home myself. I figured I'll start this month's #LMPBC book for #round17 #GroupA. I'm looking forward to this read.

Readergrrl I have a secret. I couldn‘t wait and started my #LMPBC book last weekend. I finished it in a couple of days. So good! I‘ll wait to mail it out. I hope your experience with your novel is just as good! 4w

Okay, Team V, here are my options. At first I was really into The Radleys (I‘ve heard great things over the years and it‘s been on my TBR forever), but then I saw this brand new novel, The God of Endings. Definitely seems like something I‘d love, so I preordered it (will arrive at my house on 3/6). I can‘t decide!!! Haaaaallllpppppp!!!!!

smalldogs_bigbooks2419 Lessons in Chemistry!! 😍 4w
lynneamch Any of these are ok with me. Dark Matter is the least interesting to me, but it can be fun to read something I normally wouldn't. 4w
BookishPiper I vote Lessons in Chemistry. 4w
smalldogs_bigbooks2419 Yay!! Now I can remove it from my Libby holds. I‘ve read the first few chapters that way, but not waiting quite so long to be able to rent the rest of the book sounds great. 3w

I‘m am really looking forward to a round of feel good reads. Here are some I found. What do you think? I‘m leaning towards the tagged book but the others sound fun too. They are tagged in the comments.

marleed Input from a random Litsy member… I love Fortnight In September and have purchased it two additional times for gifts. I would recommend reading the history of how and when it was written and published prior to reading because I believe it helps the reader appreciate the simplicity in the story. 4w
LeahBergen I enjoyed all of these! 😊 4w
inthegreensandblues I haven't read any of them and they all sound good. 😊 4w
TheAromaofBooks Yay!! I'm so excited about this round of reading!! I recently read Diary of a Provincial Lady, but haven't read any of the others, so I would be fine with any of them!! 4w
Maggie4483 These all sound great! I‘d be happy with any of them (and I‘m adding all of everyone‘s picks to my TBR). 4w
Deblovestoread I appreciate the input especially the tip about reading the history first since this is going to be my pick. Thank you 😊 @marleed 4w
Deblovestoread I‘m going to go with this one 4w

Excited for #Round17 #LMPBC #GroupS

Let me know what sounds good to you @Jerdencon @julieclair @Reggie

I did not know Agatha Christie had written under a pseudonym so that‘s interesting.

Jerdencon They all sound good - but Agatha Christie and the last garden in Eden would be my top 2 picks 1mo
Reggie I‘m good with any of them. I‘ve never read Agatha Christie before so that would be cool. But really, any book would be good. 1mo
julieclair These all sound good. The Last Garden in England has been on my TBR for awhile, so that would be my first choice, but I‘m fine with any of them. 1mo
Deblovestoread I‘m going with The Last Garden in England. For someone who hasn‘t read Christie before you should probably start with her mysteries instead. Looking forward to this round! @Jerdencon @Reggie @julieclair @suvata 1mo
