3✨I was nervous at first that this one would be too much romance for me, but feel it had a nice balance. There was heartfelt amazing moments especially at the end. Coming from a non-romance reading type, I really liked this story. Read for #LMPBC #GroupF

Roary47 Also able to get #WinterGames2021 #TeamGameSleighers points. #WGWordSearch 86 (10)words +25 +1= 886 points. @StayCurious 1mo

I‘m sorry this took me so long to finish #LMPBC #GroupF. 3✨I wasn‘t too sure of the romance through the story. I had some issues with it being slow periodically, but how it wrapped up was what I was hoping for. I‘m not going to call this a Christmas read, but it is on my TBR for #WinterGames2021 #TeamGameSleighers and I found #WGWordSearch 7*10+15+1=86

BethM Did you get the book I sent? @Littlewolf1 I haven‘t received yours yet. 1mo

This novel took me awhile to finish because.......I was bored out of my mind. 🤣 No really the writing style was getting on my nerves so my review is bias but it wasn't my type of novel. #LMPBC #GroupF #Round12 @magyklyXdelish @Alfrazier21 @Reynosa8701

monalyisha Hi, Sharon! I‘m leaving you this comment here, too, so it doesn‘t get buried in the comment thread on my #NewYearWhoDis sign-up post: You have to submit a list of Favorite Books (title & author) in order to have a valid registration. Take a quick peek at the piece I‘ve written on top for how to do that before submitting your form. I‘m going to delete your registration & you‘ll have to resubmit, unfortunately, as that‘s the most important part. 😬 2mo
monalyisha @sharread Also, just as a heads-up: your spot isn‘t saved! So haste is recommended. Sorry for the pressure! 2mo

In a Holidaze | Christina Lauren

Okay #groupF, I googled “Hallmark holiday movie in book form” to come up with my list, so these are all contemporaries. I also threw in my favorite holiday rom-com that I‘m rereading no matter what, but thought it might be fun for the group. Please let me know if you‘ve read any of these or if any sound particularly appealing (or unappealing). ☺️ I can always go back to the drawing board if need be.

slategreyskies Just curious, which one‘s your favorite that you reread? 3mo
DGRachel @slategreyskies The only one of these I‘ve read is In a Holidaze. It was fun escapism and it‘s now on my to-reread-annually list. I‘m usually more of a historical romance fan than contemporary, although I‘ll read both. 3mo
BethM I‘m glad she asked because I was going to ask! I‘ll read any of these. The only one I‘m not super keen on is the bramble house just bc ive seen the movie. 3mo
DGRachel @BethM I didn‘t want to sway the group. 😂I haven‘t seen the movie version of Bramble House, but I‘m 95% sure I‘ve seen The Bridge. 3mo
Littlewolf1 @DGRachel @BethM I was going to say bramble house and snow angel Cove are my top picks, but never mind on bramble house, LOL. Really all of them sound great, I‘m good with whatever you choose. 3mo
Roary47 Awww these all look really good. I have been wanting to read Holidaze, but am open for any. 😊💛 3mo
DGRachel @BethM @Littlewolf1 @Roary47 Good morning! I guess I should have made sure I could get my hands on all of these. Snow Angel Cove is out of print, so I don‘t think I can get a copy on time. I can get In a Holidaze, so I‘m going with that one. (edited) 3mo

Hey #GroupF! Before I put together my list of potential reads, where do you all fall on the heat level? I know Beth suggested winter-themed romances with a Hallmark movie vibe. Are we thinking closed-door, modern rom-com only, or anything goes, including historicals, as long as they are set in winter? As a romance reader, I‘m good with anything.

BethM I‘m a romance reader too so I‘m good with any and all heat/contemp/historical whatever :) 3mo
BethM Also I didn‘t know you were a romance reader! #romantsy unite! 3mo
DGRachel @BethM Romance is the best! It is my go-to genre when I am sad or sick or in a reading slump. I read a lot of dark stuff in other genres and romance is the best escape genre I know. 💖 3mo

BethM Me too! As far as my go to escape when I need it or I‘m sad, sick etc. I don‘t read much dark stuff bc I work in criminal justice, but I‘ll read a lot of cozies, sff, historical fiction etc. nothing beats romance for the warm fuzzies. 3mo
Littlewolf1 I guess I should have read this before putting together my list, but my list is pretty mixed. 3mo
DGRachel @Littlewolf1 no worries! I think it was @Roary47 who said this was out of her comfort zone, so I didn‘t want to pick erotica if everyone wasn‘t comfortable with that level of sex-on-the-page. (Not that I would have-just as an example) 3mo
Littlewolf1 @DGRachel That makes perfect sense 3mo
Roary47 @Littlewolf1 @BethM @DGRachel yes, I‘m not a romance reader. As long as it is not full on erotica I‘ll be good. I‘m okay with steamy as long as there is also a awww I love that these two are together plot to get them together. 3mo

Pickpick

4 💫💫💫💫 Unique writing style. I enjoyed this suspense mystery. Kept me guessing all the way to the end. The main character Nic heads back home to sell the family house, all the while she's digging up dirt on a missing girl her high school best friend, but the first day she's back another girl goes missing. #GROUPF #LMPBC #ROUND12 @magyklyXdelish @Reynosa8701 Will be mailing your way tomorrow. @Alfrazier21
