Mehso-so

I Hate Image is a brightly colored and super violent tale about Gert, who is on a quest to get into Image Central to see the partners. However, while I really enjoyed some of the humor and breaking the fourth wall, I don‘t think this one is for me. I didn‘t love the artwork, and I didn‘t really care for the main character. The Teachers from the Black Lagoon by Mike Thaler, illustrated by Jared Lee are humorous tales about the rumors kids have passed around.

These books were another staple from my childhood! Upon re-reading this collection of four tales as an adult, I thought some of the tales stood up, but I would avoid one if I were to pass these on to future kiddos.
