The House At the End of Lacelean Street by Catherine McCarthy is a heavy yet uplifting story of the many paths a life can take and the beauty of letting go.

I highly recommend going into this read in the dark!

This is a must-read for fans of dark mysteries, great character development, and spooky houses!

Feral by Gemma Amor is a heavy tale of discomfort and transformation told in a beautiful and brutal way that only Gemma can do.

I went into this one totally dark. I only knew it was new from Gemma Amor and I couldn‘t wait to read it. This is such a wonderful blend of love, frustration, gut-punch horror, and bloody revenge.

The Perfectly Fine Neighborhood edited by Kayleigh Dobbs, Stephen Kozeniewski, and Wile E. Young is an anthology of amazing tales where ghosts occupying space amongst the living is totally normal, but all is not perfectly fine.

I had an absolute blast with the collection! I love that there was a mix of spooky, heart-breaking, thought-provoking, and just all-around fun tales here.

What a fresh take on the zombie trope! These zombies are the most unsettling I‘ve ever come across!
