⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ x 9! I #reread all of these recently, and the arc and art still knocked my socks off! Volume 10 is out in October. I‘ve been waiting so (im)patiently.
I swear this dog is going to speak human to me one day. 😂
Time for a #reread! And time for my all-time favorite beer, only available in Wisconsin, but brought to us by awesome friends. 🍺 Cheers to those who have laid down their lives for our freedom. We appreciate you beyond comprehension. #MemorialDay 🇺🇸
#SagaSaturday If anyone needs me, I‘ll be right here, rereading all of Saga. Don‘t need me. 🤣🤣🤣
Time for a quick reread before the new edition! Love these two ❤
Our local comic bookstore announced that SAGA IS RETURNING on January 26!!! And what‘s more, they are giving away the next issue for free. What a long-awaited for day! I‘m surprised I haven‘t seen anyone else post about it. I ended the last Saga throwing it across the room, so curious to see what comes next…
Guess who's coming back in 2022...😲😲😲😢😭😆😆😆 I've provided a link to the article Diamond Distributors published on when the 55th issue of Saga will be published, and what Vaughn and Staples has in store for readers of the series. Link:https://diamondbookdistributors.org/brian-k-vaughan-fiona-staples-saga-returns/ #comics
I‘m late to see this news but better late than never. I‘m beyond excited for January and the return of Saga with a double issue!!! It‘s been a long wait and I can‘t wait to see what staples and Vaughan have in store for us. Winter can‘t get here fast enough!!!
(Head over to Vaughan‘s Instagram for a little more info if interested.)
Ok, here‘s the thing, I‘m super excited about Y the Last Man—I absolutely love this comic & recommend it to everyone but I have to be honest…I‘m over the moon, out of this world excited to see the last little bit…
When Vaughan & Staples went on hiatus, they said Saga was at the halfway point, that there are another 50 or so issues to go. I‘m just hoping for more…period…full stop. Can‘t wait to see what the update is!
There was a LOT of hype about this series, so I decided to pick it up. The artwork is absolutely amazing. Very imaginative with interesting & diverse characters. It's a little weird, but I'm starting to like it. At the end, I found myself somewhat invested in the story & curious about where it would go. I was put off by some of the more “adult“ content present in the story as it seemed a bit gratuitous, but I was still interested in the plot.
So many good ones exist, but Dinos and Comics has been bringing me a lot of joy this pandemic. I also loved Saga (tagged), Fables, Nimona, and Lumberjanes, and I‘ve been wanting to try Rat Queens!
Finished this first installment in the Saga series and loved it. Looking forward to the next volume.
Also finished today Jimmy the Kid, another great Dortmunder adventure, as funny and full of mishap as the others.
Both picks and both counting towards my February #BookSpinBingo
Started my reread of Saga and I had forgotten the dialog between Alana and Marko.
I was browsing the shelves in my local comic book shop today when I picked up the 1st compendium of Saga to tell my friend how good it was. When I opened it up I noticed that it was SIGNED by Brian K. Vaughan! So of course I bought it even though I already own volumes 1-9. 😂 But I knew I couldn‘t walk out of there without it. #saga
1. The difference between graphic novels and comics is like binging on several episodes of a TV show as opposed to watching one episode a week.
2. Saga series. This is the series for people who say they don't like comics or graphic novels. @TheSpineView
3. Either is fine, depends on the story.
#20Series20Days Day 7
My #Top20Series list would not be complete without some of my favorite comics starting with Saga. I love everything about this comic about two soldiers from opposing sides who fall in love & then have to stay one step ahead of a universe trying to destroy them. Staples artwork is exquisite—I could stare at it all day. A complex, emotional story with a great cast of characters in a fascinating world.
📚Tagged—well, Vol. 1 and all the others. Can‘t wait until there‘s more!

📺 Star Wars: The Clone Wars (sure it‘s for kids but it is some of the very best Star Wars, movies included—yeah, I said it)

Saga Vol. 1 - I really enjoyed this one. The story was really entertaining and I'm looking forward to seeing where the series goes.
Locke and Key - This one was a little hard to follow but a good creepy story. #Doublespin
Monstress - Interesting story and gorgeous graphics.
In 2016 I sent out Saga Volume one to a group of 30+ people for a book group by mail. 4 years later and lots of ups and downs my book (and extras) came back to me. I‘ve been enjoying the comments on the series. I‘m happy to say a majority of the folx that read Saga loved it. Can‘t ask for anything better than that! 🙂
I especially appreciated the art that accompanied some of the comments. Thanks Megan & Tanya!
Thanks for the tag, @Allylu 😁
1. I‘m in Alabama and it‘s soooo hot 🥵 already
2. The Saga series, by far. I sped through it!
3. If it holds my interest, it‘s not really a thing. But usually, anything less than say, War and Peace works 😂
4. Feel free to play along! @magyklyXdelish @ElizaMarie @AkashaVampie @erzascarletbookgasm
So... just started and I already love this kitty!
Libby Hold came in just in time (Its snowing today and well the internet is spotty so... Downloaded this one to enjoy -- in case the internet decides its no longer gonna work)
Heard great things about it so I am really excited!
I started Saga last night and I‘m already on volume 3. This first volume has me hooked. The story, world, characters all are so well written and illustrated. This story revolves around 2 people on opposite sides of the war falling in love and creating a baby. Now they are being hunted by everyone in the galaxy. I will see these are filled with graphic nudity so if that‘s something you don‘t like I highly recommend skipping.
Starting something new today....
One other bit of book news. Last week—I think it was last week—Brian K. Vaughan popped up on Instagram & had this to say...”Brian here, briefly emerging from my Yes I‘m Writing More Saga Bunker.” So excited to see even this passing reference to one of my favorite comics. Vaughan & Staples have been on hiatus for some time & I‘m very much looking forward to the return of Saga. Too exciting & so I share the cover of Vol. 1 & the back of Vol. 3.⬇️
Day 2 of #7days7books that left an impression on me.
I was never really into comics until I read Saga and realised how awesome reading comics are if written well. Saga is the whole package, great artwork, great dialogue and great plot.
I tag @CareBear if you feel like joining in.
So, I downloaded ComiXology because I‘ve been hearing so many good things about Lumberjanes and Paper Girls, then I remembered I wanted to check out Saga.
Just read volume 1 in one sitting because it‘s totally addictive!! 😁😁
Charms OWL Exam: 3.25 ⭐️
When a couple ends up having a baby, the entire galaxy seems to start hunting them down. I guess that‘s what happens when each person is from an opposing multigenerational war and relations between the two are the worst possible thing.

A really intriguing introduction to the world of this series! We get hints of what‘s going on, but we‘re thrown into this story of a family on the run from a war between their two worlds. After reading the first volume, I had to know what was going to happen next and immediately ran to pick up the next volume.
