pickJust finished listening to the audiobook and this book is truly haunting. It feels like it is very near futuristic and I really enjoyed the narration and different voices of each character. This book broached a wide amount of subjects including social media, economics, familial structure and struggles as well as giving just enough of a thriller aspect to make it unique. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a sci-fi thriller.
Just finish this book yesterday and it was a great memoir. Shari is so brave for sharing her family‘s story. This book really shows that even through hardship you are able to come out a stronger person on the other side.

I really enjoyed this book. It was great having the chapters narrated by both the main characters Emira and Alix. Having this type of storytelling helped provide a deeper perspective.
Can‘t believe this amazing book is almost coming to and end. I feel like I‘ve been on such a roller coaster of emotions with the main character Frankie. I‘ve watched her grow from a naive young woman starting out in the army to a strong woman with supportive best friends. 👩⚕️
pickJust finished reading “White Smoke” by @writeinbk and it was just the book I needed to bring in #hallowseve. This book is filled with mystery, suspense and at its core redemption. Marigold our main character has her flaws but deep down you can see who she really is as a daughter and sister.
