The start of this book was a little slow but picked up and had some really interesting twists and turns.
Had to show off my back to school manicure.
This book was pretty terrible to me until the twist then I was super into it, but then it fizzled for me again at the end.
With more than 6 hours passed reading ever since the start of the #24in48 readathon, it seems highly unlikely that I'll be able to reach the target of 24 hours. So my goal is to finish the 2 books I started by the end of the readathon: The Kind Worth Killing and Poet X.
Ted meets Lily in Heathrow airport bar, where both of them are waiting for their flight back to Boston. They also share the same aisle in the #airplane . After a drink too many, they hatched up a plan to murder Ted‘s wife.
An enjoyable read with a few good twists. 👍
The premise in the beginning was a bit far fetched for me, but as the story continued it all started to fall in line. Suspense at every corner - along with a few unsuspected turns! I love when a story can do that and it still flows. The multiple POVs and altered timelines gives this book an extra jolt of thrill. As a redhead myself, I found I quickly fell in love with Lily. Heck of an ending too!
This has great reviews and was highly recommended by a colleague of mine, but I really didn‘t like it. I can get down with unlikable characters but all of them were just so... boring! Lily was the least boring but her motives were baffling and entirely lacking nuance. So this was more like The Kind Worth Skipping for me 🤷🏼♀️
This is an excellent thriller! As soon as I turned to page one the chase was on! There are quite a few twists in the story that sometimes you have to put your brain on pause and say, "WTF?!". LOL I love a great anti-hero and Lily is definitely it. I know I was rooting for her to get away it. Simply put, I loved this book. I cannot wait to see the movie! ?
Ted's wife is cheating on him..he wants her dead. He meets Lily at the airport after a few drinks he tells her he wishes his wife was dead, Lily immediately offers to help him with that. Another great thriller from Peter Swanson, a suspenseful book with some unpredictable plot twists that will leave you wondering wth did I just read?! This book is why you should never talk to strangers! #peterswanson #faber&faber #tea_sipping_bookworm
This book was really intriguing! As I was reading, I thought I had things figured out, but there was still a lot of book left and so I wondered what was going to happen. It was not what I expected! I would like to read more from this author!

The best place to finish a book!! Wow this one had me on the edge of my seat! I loved the different points of view, how the story kept surprising me and the unexpected twists it had. Very different from other books I‘ve read lately. I recommend this one if you love suspense!
Did you get a chance to start this one yet @keys_on_fire ?? I am loving the multiple view points, need to know more about Lily‘s history and what they are planning !!
I have a snuggly and VERY sleepy puppers right now. #Burley #DogsOfLitsy
I am really enjoying this book! Thanks for the #MakeMeReadIt pick @That-Bookish-Hiker 💙 Has anyone else read this book? If not, you should!
Since I have a sleeping #Shadow on my lap and a passed out #Burley beside me guess I'll read. I'm starting #TheKindWorthKilling because @That-Bookish-Hiker picked it out of a stack of books to for me to read when I was being indecisive this weekend. 😆😆
