Loved this novel. What would you do if you received a box with a string that told you how long your life was going to be? Would you open it? What would you do if you received a short string; or if your partner did? This book goes into all of that and more.

Such a beautiful, heartbreaking story.

MyNamesParadise Oh I loved the book! I watched some of the episodes on Apple TV+ but haven‘t finished it yet. 6mo
LaurenMags @MyNamesParadise how is the show so far? Do you like it? Considering getting Apple TV just for the show. 6mo
MyNamesParadise @LaurenMags it‘s ok. I didn‘t feel like it was must see tv. There‘s a lot of focus on characters that aren‘t in the book or that are more fleshed out. Sometimes it felt like Edwards story took a backstep. I wouldn‘t commit to getting a streaming service just for that show. But there are other good shows on Apple TV+ like Ted Lasso, Shrinking, and Trying that I highly recommend! (If you‘re going to get it!) 6mo

This book is so good. Grohl has an amazing life and career. This book makes you love him even more. Do yourself a favor and listen to it on audio. This book just hits different when Grohl reads his story to you.

marleed I felt the same way, and prior to the Litsy Love on this book I would not have even known he was a member of the Foo Fighters. I just loved how much he loves and is awestruck by his own life - both professionally and personally. 6mo
LaurenMags @marleed Right?! He seems so humble. And I love his passion for everything and his love for his mother. 6mo

Great book about giving things your all even if it pushes you out of your comfort zone. How can you succeed if you don't try? It helps that it is written by one of my favorite comedians.

Usually I don't listen to audio books because I end up doing a million things while playing them and I don't pay attention. I listened to this one on audio for my commute to work and the reader was atrocious. The story itself was good though. Do yourself a favor if you decide to read it and get the physical copy. I know I wish I did.

I LOVED this novel! It is one of Hendrix's best yet. It is a slow burn with a creepy undertone until you get smacked with it for the last half of the book.

I was lucky enough to meet with Grady Hendrix and have him sign my book. I had him come to the library that I worked at to have him do an author event for this book. He had us laughing and crying by the end of the night. I highly recommend this book!

Slow burn murder mystery novel. I really enjoyed it even though I was not a fan of the main character Maddie. I went into the book thinking I wouldn't like it based off the blurb on the jacket. I'm happy I didn't go off my first impression!

Great book that deals with a lot of tough topics. It is about 12 native Americans getting ready to go to a powwow in Oakland California. I think I would like this book better if the characters were narrowed down to 3 or 4 of them. It was too hard to keep track of all the characters with there being 12 of them.
