I couldn't put this book down. Great YA novel that deals with mental health. "You are not broken. You are already whole, even if you need help. And you are not alone."

An amazing middle grade novel! I don't want to say much because I don't want to give anything away but it is about a child called Bug getting ready to enter middle school that lives in a haunted house and her uncle has just passed away. Definitely a perfect choice for pride month!

I picked this book up just to see what the craze over Colleen Hoover was about. While I found the relationship between the two characters to be problematic I still devoured the book and picked up another one by her.

I love TJ Klune's dark sense of humor. Like my review of his other book, The House In The Cerulean Sea, it does become a little too sweet of a book and gets wrapped up with a bow but I enjoyed the ride.

Meh. It was okay. I liked hearing about her friendship with her lab partner Bill but the rest of the memoir really didn't catch my interest.

It took me a bit to get into this novel but once I got past a hundred pages or so I flew thru it. It takes place in 1860 in Louisiana and is about the Gilbert family and their plantation. It is a YA novel but I would only recommend it to older teens and adults.

I enjoyed this novel. It kind of reminded me of an adult version of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Very heartfelt and sweet story; sometimes a little too sweet. Overall I would recommend it.

Novel that takes place in Dublin in 1918 over 3 days in a maternity ward during the great flu. After reading this I want to learn more about the rebel doctor, Kathleen Lynn. The ending felt a little rushed but I'm not sure if it was meant to be that way because of how quickly things can change during that time period. I think I would have enjoyed this more if we weren't currently going through our own pandemic.

Novel in verse about 2 teens that have experienced trauma in their very young years. There is a twist ending that is making me want to go back and read again to see if there were any hints that I missed!

I am in love with this graphic novel! I have always loved the story about Hades and Persephone and this is a modern retelling of it. Beautiful artwork! Definitely a wild ride of a romance story with lots of humor mixed in! This was originally a web comic and it is still available online for free.

This month I'm trying to catch up on the Printz mock contenders from work! Lots of great YA books were released last year!

This book was not my cup of tea. I only finished it because it is for book club. The characters are all brats who did horrible things to each other and I couldn't wait for it to end. Needless to say I will not be reading the other 2 books in the series.

I would definitely be interested in an updated edition of this book. This was written in the 90s and it would be great to hear things about the current digital world. Overall it was a great book about harnessing your fear to help protect you.

Not a light read about Keith Raniere and NXIVM. The control that he had over these women was disgusting. I'm glad he will be behind bars for the rest of his life for destroying all those lives.
