Just could not get into this book at all. Im a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland but this one just wasn‘t my scene

Another one down from the tbr!

It felt familiar and new and that was part of the fun and the intrigue. I loved the twists and turns that this went through, even if I did figure out some plot points before it happened, because of how much I was enjoying this. Oakes' take on wonderland was just as rich and detailed as I remember the original being and it took me back to that world.

This read super quickly. Engaging little story. Started a bit tough but got better. I will definitely read the next book in this trilogy.

I‘m a sucker for an Alice in Wonderland/QOH retelling and I enjoyed this one a lot!

My daughter as the queen of hearts 2014. This was the longest costume to make, I think it took 2 months. At one point I was drowning in tulle and it invaded my dreams. I bought the crown, septer and mask but I made everything else.

At first it felt like it was going to be a slow read. But as I read more and more of the book, I got more into it. It felt exciting to read it, I felt I was getting a rush from the story. I couldn‘t wait to see how it ended. I‘m so excited about the next book in the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just added the tagged book to my #Litsyatoz records. I‘ve started books for #letterU and #letterX. So that leaves just three letters to go, O, Y, and Z, for which I already have books lined up! Barring a catastrophe I will finish this challenge much earlier than my normal crunch in November-December.

I finally finished this YA #letterQ book for #litsyatoz. Not any genre I‘d normally read, I read this only because it started with Q, BUT I liked it! It‘s a very good origin story about a royal heroine—and would be a successful story within any genre. I even liked the fantastical elements such as a well-done make-believe animal/character near the end. This appears to be the first in a trilogy. I will keep reading...
