Stopped to straighten up this Little Free Library and found a Narwhal! ❤️❤️❤️
My kids are loving this series. If you like Elephant and Piggie then you will like Narwhal and Jelly. Fun fact we learned: a group of Jellyfish is called a Smack.
Ben Clanton‘s charming self-illustrated picture book for children aged 5+ (the first in a series) is a cute story about friendship, envy and imagination and includes some cool facts about narwhals and jellyfish such that both adults and kids will get a kick out of it.
Thank you for the tag @Ashley_Nicoletto 🤩 Here‘s my #top6reads so far this year, and because I cannot follow directions, I threw in the tagged book as a bonus. 😆 I‘m still waiting for that special book that just blows me away and that I won‘t be able to stop talking about for years, but I haven‘t found it quite yet. Tagging @ljuliel @Serotonin @Shakespearience @dsfisher and anyone else who wants to play along. 😘
I love my #indiebookstore #parkroadbooks. Sherri ordered all of the Ben Clanton books for me and found this accessible book on Emmett Till. Best of all, everyone shared my enthusiasm for Narwhal and Jelly and #nojudgement for the fact I bought them for myself. I don‘t have kids or even have nearby friends with kids. These puppets and books are all mine! 🤣🤣
I got this book and a new friend at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. It is a super cute, fun read about a happy Narwhal and his adventures with his friend Jellyfish. I‘m sure I would have loved this when I was little. There‘s even a Narwhal song. ❤️
Haven't gotten a lot of reading done this week because I've been too busy running my son's elementary school's book fair. Our PTA provides a voucher to every child so that no one goes home empty handed. It's so much work, but also the most personally rewarding thing I've done in a long time. :)
We read this adorable book in art and made our own Narhwhal and Jelly 💙
1. Before I could really read it was Snow White and Rose Red. After I really started reading it was Nancy Drew books.
2. My first dog. She was the best friend I've ever had.
3. Picking up black walnuts in the yard.
4. I really liked to play games(still do), and my aunt had this game called Masterpiece that I loved.
5. I love this series.

I shouldn‘t be allowed to go to the school book fair unsupervised! 𗀖
My 150th book of the year. Goodreads Challenge completed. 🎉
This was short and funny, Narwhal making friends with jellyfish, trying to encourage other sea animals to join his pod,...
It's also book 83 on #MountTBR.
My daughter brought home this adorable, funny book from the school library today. In the first chapter, a narwhal and a jellyfish become friends and eat waffles together. So freakin‘ cute!
The showable #bookhaul.
Ever since visiting the Natural History Museum in London my daughter has pestered me with "Can I have a real unicorn?" Since narwhals make bad pets, this is a good substitute. She's even happy that it's in English.
I caved and got the illustrated Gaimans. Just "Odd" left to get.
The stack of four books was a total impulse buy. I wanted to get one book for a swap box and well, you know how it happens.
This book is adorable! It‘s their first graphic novel. We‘ve already read it 3 times today. And they know I post about my favorite books so they said “Mommy! Take a picture!!” How could I say no? 😆 #raisingreaders
Narwhals, people. Narwhals and unicorns.
Happiness is ordering a totally silly Narwhal and Jellyfish book for the library which makes everyone laugh...and then, afterwards narwhals start showing up on my desk. Win Win. 😂🤗😜😘☺️ #catsoflitsy
Neither narwhal nor jellyfish know of the others existence so the Jellyfish rants:
I can't believe this! The thing I'm imagining is imagining that is imagining me. 😂
I have an unhealthy obsession with Narwhal & Jelly. Add that it's written by a really cool author (who happens to be a fellow Ravenclaw) and that there are matching temporary tattoos? You'd better believe I'm going to sell you this book. (Make that five copies of this book. Or twenty. Yeah, 20 sounds good.)

This is an adorable way to introduce even the youngest kids to graphic novels. And it was wonderful. Narwhal and Jellyfish start off believing each other is an imaginary friend. Fun is had in every page, and now all kids will want to be a unicorn of the sea.
