This was such a fun read! I loved the premise, the writing, and Rasmira. She was already strong physically but learned so much about herself and what she was capable of during her banishment and gained the confidence to do what she needed to do. Loved the friendships in here too.

This was a fun, if predictable, read. Of Riley Sager's 3 books, this ranks right in the middle for me. Worth the read if you are in the mood for a page-turning suspenseful read.

This was delightful! Steamy, swoony, funny, great banter. Just what my weary, overworked brain needed right now. Might be my favourite read 2019 so far!

This was a fun read! I don't really read cozy mysteries but this was a nice change of pace for me. I was annoyed at someone's reason for not telling the police information that could have made them less of a suspect, but generally I thought the mystery was well done and I liked Lana, the main character.
I'll be adding book two to my TBR.

This was a real page turner, but the ending felt rushed and I predicted everything, so as a twisty thriller it wasn't all that satisfying for me. I like when a book can surprise me.
But it was dark and entertaining enough. I've seen mixed reviews and I understand why, since I'm somewhat torn on my feelings about it. 3.5 / 5 ⭐

This was a really interesting one. At first I loved it, then my feelings waned as the story went on. It starts slow then the creepiness intensifies, but it didn't cross the line to truly scary for me. But that ending! I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but now that I've had some time to think about it, I definitely did. 3.5 / 5 ⭐

This was a quick read, and it kept me entertained, but when I finished I didn't have strong feelings about it. Kept me reading, but I felt like it wanted to keep surprising me with twists that I didn't think were very surprising. It was an average 3/5 ⭐ for me.

I am still very hit or miss with contemporary romance. I generally like Christina Lauren books (and I'm hoping to get around to my eARC of The Unhoneymooners this weekend), but this book was just ok.
I definitely liked it better than book two in the series, Dirty Rowdy Thing, but the conflict between Lola and Oliver didn't engage me. I think book one, Sweet Filthy Boy, is my favourite of this series.

This was a very quick read and it was fun, but I couldn't totally get used to the interview format. Everyone I know who has read it has absolutely loved it though, so I feel like the odd one out here. 3.5 / 5 🌟

akckitty It's hard to feel involved in the format. I enjoyed it, but I think I only enjoyed it because I listened to the audiobook! They all had their own voices, etc. So it was way easier to get lost and enjoy the story once you recognized voices. I had it also on my Kindle and I was like ohh no thanks haha 3mo
britt_brooke I didn‘t care for it. These types of gimmicky formats wear on me quickly. 3mo

hermyknee I thought it was just okay. I listened to it on audio, but honestly, Daisy and Billy just aren‘t that interesting. Karen is, and so is Graham, but we don‘t really get their story. 3mo

I'm torn. This was a major page-turner. I read it in one day while I was home sick. It's a dark and twisted story that I needed to finish asap so I could see how it ended.
But it also felt like it may have been one too many dark and violent books for me lately. Normally I love those but maybe I am feeling burned out on them? I need something lighter for my next read.
But if you want a dark, messed up, frantic read, pick this one up!

I have been in a decluttering mood for months, so I was very receptive to the message and method in this book. I loved it, and what Marie Kondo says about clutter and its effect on a person's life rang very true, for me. I've been decluttering my home using her method and it feels so good.
I've also been watching her Netflix show and loving it. If you like the show, check out the book!
