Not a bad week of reading.

#DeweyOct was a bit of bust for me. Between work and a family visit in the evening I didn't get much read.

I read “Children of the Corn“ for #Booked2022.

“American Cozy“ was not for me and was sent back to the library.

I've already reviewed “Hell House“-that was my read during the week.

The only book I didn't get to was the Bradbury. Maybe I'll get that read this week.

My 7th and final book of the 24-hour readathon was wonderful! So funny! Now I am going to bed. @DeweysReadathon #readathon #deweyoct #litsylovereads

I woke up early to put in a little more readathon time. I‘m finishing up with breakfast and the first few chapters of the book of Daniel.
#BibleBuddyRead #BookAndBreakfast

Overall, I‘ll have right at 15 hours of reading and listening time. I completed three books, read sections of four others for current readalongs, and started two more. #DeweyOct #Readathon

DeweysReadathon 15 hours is a great achievement! 11mo
Daisey @DeweysReadathon Thanks! I was surprised I managed to get that many hours. 11mo
tpixie Amazing stats! And so great you can remember and juggle all that! I‘ve only read 3 books at a time- all usually in different mediums. Yummy breakfast! 11mo
Daisey @tpixie That used to be me as well, one print, one ebook, and one audio. However, I‘ve learned I can balance more as long as they‘re different. Plus, I just can‘t resist some readalongs and still have to read for school and such. I‘ll admit my Tolkien reading has been almost none the past few months, so I made time for a few pages of that last night too. 11mo
tpixie @Daisey yes different helps! Keep up the great work! Reading 📖 11mo

The story was ok but I did not like the writing. I did not feel characters. The sex scenes was horrible written. Read this during @DeweysReadathon #readathon #deweyoct #deweyoct2022

I finished my 6th book of the 24-hour readathon. This was not what I had hoped it would be, so I don't think I would recommend this one unless you are interested in some unique recipes. @DeweysReadathon #readathon #deweyoct

I have finished my 5th book of the readathon! I've been trying to finish this one for months. I think this is a beautiful book though sad. I also understand some negative reviews about the footnotes, but I didn't mind the footnotes. @DeweysReadathon #readathon #deweyoct #litsylovereads

Do you have any Readathon traditions? I always like to cook sausages at Hour 18, which is midnight my time. Midnight Sausages have become such an important part of my Readathon that I make sure I‘ve got some in my freezer come April and October, ready to whip out and fry up.

I read while I cook ‘em, of course. These two and their egg (a new addition) took me ALMOST to the end of another volume of my favourite manga. #deweyoct #readathon

melissajayne I always order pizza for dinner, unless I am with my parents. And I always get a family sized package of red licorice (usually Twizzlers). 11mo
DeweysReadathon @melissajayne love those food traditions! 11mo

IT‘S HOUR 16, BABY! (Unless I counted wrong.) THIS IS THE POINT IN THE READATHON WHERE I START THINKING IN ALL CAPS. BOOKS ARE GREAT. READERS ARE GREAT. EVERYTHING IS GREATGREATGREAT.

I‘m back at my own place right now, with my own dog (who won‘t keep his head still enough for my iPad‘s not-so-great camera), and I‘m looking forward to some more hilariously bad Sweet Valley, another volume of SKIP BEAT!, and maybe a bit of Kate Elliott. #deweyoct
