I love my #indiebookstore #parkroadbooks. Sherri ordered all of the Ben Clanton books for me and found this accessible book on Emmett Till. Best of all, everyone shared my enthusiasm for Narwhal and Jelly and #nojudgement for the fact I bought them for myself. I don‘t have kids or even have nearby friends with kids. These puppets and books are all mine! 🤣🤣

The Mitford Murders | Jessica Fellowes

so-so

After 2 bails earlier today, I completed my third book of 2019 and started my 4th. I was planning on using this for #booked2019 #femaleDetective but 16yr old Nancy Mitford really doesn‘t qualify as a detective. However book works fine for #pop19 #amateurdetective🕵🏻‍♀️I‘d call this a British cozy with traces of Miss Marple & Maisie Dobbs. It was a perfectly fine mystery with some nice twists & interesting historical content. (1920s England)

Ruthiella I am one of the few readers (I think there are only three of us in the world 🤪) who does not love Nancy Mitford‘s novels so this series has never interested me😬. 5y

So we can eat in the car and keep listening to our Awesome #audiobook (s)!!

This is the latest in the wonderful Land of Stories series. Chris Colfer narrates and we listen! Finding books that work for all ages isn't always easy so this is a definite win!

So this is the physical pile which is literally "books on the nightstand," but there's also a larger virtual "pile" on my Kindle. Don't judge me for the Debbie Macomber; sometimes I like to see what all the fuss is about, and it was a quarter at a yard sale. #TBR Tuesday.
