and 🤣 we all are eating ice cream now after explaining for the millionth time why yes you can have children a whole school career apart 😝

Even though the past few years have been really hard as a teacher, I still love what I do and it is students like the one who gave me this gift for teacher appreciation week that make it all worth it! I love that my students know me and they allow me to get to know them not just as learners but as people! #teachersoflitsy

It‘s teacher appreciate week this week and we‘re being spoiled by our parents‘ group. Today we had Starbucks gift cards, a mug, cupcakes, and other treats! And they have a whole week of surprises planned. #teachingela

Just checking in because it‘s been a while. Teacher life is kicking my butt. I bombed an audit, I have homework to do and homework to grade, and 20000 IEPs to go (okay but really 20). So I haven‘t had tons of time to read but cheers to the freaking weekend when I can relax and read. I‘m starting The Outsiders for a homework assignment!

I'm a teacher at a daycare and got so many gifts. We got a potluck from all of the parents in the center. A couple of my kiddos got me cupcakes and Starbucks gift cards. from the directors we got candy, coffee, donuts, a thirty-one key chain, and a target gift card.

What is a good and thoughtful gift to get my son's Head Start teachers? I'm so grateful to them for how far he has come while attending preschool that I want to show my appreciation somehow. I know Head Start can always use funds, but is a donation a good gift?

Seriously. This is my tenth year, but my first in Jr. High and I am beyond exhausted, like I don't even want to read exhausted. Thirteen year olds are seriously cray-cray. Lord help me. #TeachersOfLitsy #INeedABigKidJuiceBox
