One of two current TBR towers... #booknerdproblems
1. Hershey bars. 2. Gum 3. Watching scary movies and devouring mini chocolate bars... for at least 10 years 4. A Halloween fairy, because I get to wear a long, black tutu dress (I have a ridiculous number of tutus in my closet...) 🧚🏻♀️
I have a few more #poutinepenpals letters to go out today! @PurpleyPumpkin @sherryvdh @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego ....more to come! If you haven‘t heard from me in a while, more letters are on the way 😊
This book is seriously blowing my mind! It‘s a great pep talk before I start work for the day.
I found this book completely by chance and now I‘m obsessed with it! It‘s different from the Sookie Stackhouse series that I loved, but entertaining for sure!
I tend to not finish a book if I don‘t like it. I used to force myself to finish (an old school habit), but I realized that you don‘t need to finish a book to get something out of it.
Thrift store haul! #thriftscore
“I figured that applying for jobs would be like applying for college: line up all the correct paperwork, check all the right boxes, and get accepted. That‘s adulthood, right?!” -(I can remember thinking this same thought! What a rude awakening THAT was, to graduate into the recession...)
What a great book! I kind of love Maude, the 89-year-old who gets away with all sorts of naughty things. She‘s seriously kick a$$! Also: I love the size of this book. Tiny books are kind of cool!
I forgot to take a picture, but my #cupidgoespostal package went out a few days ago! Also, I‘m pretty sure my own package arrived in the form of an Amazon box! Yay! @BookishMarginalia thanks for hosting this swap!
Tiny books are really popular this year! I love the idea of purse-sized reads, but I don‘t like the ones that print text so that you have to hold the book sideways to read them...that just feels too strange to me, even if it does mimic how people read on their phones these days. What do you think, fellow littens?
I love this book! I‘m only a few chapters in, but I‘m totally obsessed! Also: it makes me want to go into the past and give Stephanie Land a hug.
Up next on my nonfiction TBR: part hustle story, part awesome badass female empowerment narrative, “The Personality Brokers” looks like it‘s going to be an interesting read.
I‘ve been really into ballet books lately...any suggestions for great books about ballet?
I just started reading this #arc from #netgalley and I‘m zipping through it! How old were you when Friends was on the air? I remember not being allowed to watch it because I was too young! ...But I totally watched it anyway...😆
1. “Looker” - I‘m on a thriller kick lately, because I got a bunch of them from netgalley, so I‘m working my way through that shelf! 2. Hot chocolate OR a London Fog. 3. Caramel macchiato...yeah...I‘m going to be up all night now... But at least I‘ve got a good book to read! #weekendreads @rachelsbrittain
This book might be seriously creepy, but at least I‘ve got my chocolate tea-latte to warm up my insides... I‘ve been alternating this book with an #arc of “An Anonymous Girl” for the past day or two. I think I‘m going to have to read something a bit...fluffier after this. (Although neither seem that scary at the moment).
