While on our way to see the ocean we spent a night in Portland and went to Powell‘s City of Book which was basically a freaking DREAM. I spent a solid 2.5 hours wandering around and if I had been alone I could have spent 2 more, but the husband got bored.
Hey Littens, sorry I have been MIA for the beginning of our #christmasinjulyswap buuuut my husband took me to see the ocean for the first time so I‘ve been out since Tuesday. I promise to be back and better tomorrow! I didn‘t have service 2/3 of our trip but let me tell you it was freaking magical. 🥰😍
Hello swappers! Your matches have been sent. I accidentally had some of you set out of country but I fixed it, so some of you may have gotten two emails. Anyways, I‘m heading on vacation where I will definitely be shopping for my match. Happy swapping!

Hello friends! Thanks to everyone who signed up for the Christmas in July Swap. Everyone who participates is also entered to win a mug rug. What‘s a mug rug, you ask? It‘s basically a quilted little coaster that is great for holding your mug and your snacks all at once. Why a giveaway? It‘s summer and I like to craft! #teacheroffduty

Wow @Amandajoy !! Thank you so so much! I love it ALL. The books look amazing, the llama book mark and stickees are SO cute and the mug, notebook, and pins are too fun! Plus those pens are BEAUTIFUL. The card did come, my husband said it was brought over a few days ago by my neighbor which is why I didnt find it until you mentioned it. It‘s a really cute card too! I can‘t wait to dive in and experience *all the feels* myself. Thank you again!
So, true story. I accidentally opened my package yesterday thinking it was the 21st. Then when I grabbed my phone to take a pic of the cute wrapping, I saw the date. 🤦🏻♀️ So I took this and put it all back. But now my sister is sleeping in the living room and I have to wait for her to get up 😖 I just wanted to let @Amandajoy know I didn‘t forget and that I LOVE all the llama stickers. I can‘t wait to see what‘s inside. #summersantagoespostal
Oh you guys, I really wanted to love this book but I just couldn‘t. It took me almost three months to finish. 😂 I only finished it because I wanted to know if Peter and Lara Jean stayed together. BUT I do love Lara Jean‘s personality and so I would read another book about her.
I have this little stack of books related to comic con that I really want to dive into. Unfortunately I have 6 half started books that I either have to finish or bail on because I‘ve been dragging my feet like crazy on them. I also desperately need to clean and reorganize my library. 😫 Wish me luck!
Do you think my match will know what swap this is for? And the opening date? 😂😂😂 Finally done with school and therefore after school events and was able to put this package together and get it out. I‘ve been getting bits and bobs forever so I‘m glad to have it all tied together. @BookishMarginalia #summersantagoespostal
1. The Wicked King had me like 😍😖🤔😳🤯🤬😱
2. Always and Forever, Laura Jean has me like 🤢😴🥴😡
3. Excited for the next Simon Snow book, Wayward Son. I tagged the first book.
4. My goal is to rad at least 15 hours a month. I‘m doing well if you count audio books and terrible if you don‘t. 😂
5. I‘m going to tag @Kaciecalderon to give her something to do.
So I might have pre-ordered this book on a total whim because I got an email telling me it would come with a beach bag. 🙈 Even though I follow Sarah Dessen on Twitter and enjoy her personality, I‘ve never read one of her books. Here‘s hoping it‘s amazing. And that my beach bag comes soon!
Littens! Hook me up this beautiful #recommensday . Last summer, everyone was raving over The Death of Mrs. Westaway so I downloaded it on audible for my week long gig chaperoning leadership conference and LOVED it. This year I‘m going back to USULC (with new people) and I DESPERATELY need something just as intriguing to keep me occupied. I loved the style of Westaway (like how it was no gore just twisty). So... What do you have for me?
Accidentally bought this entire series on amazon kindle a few months ago. I hate reading on the kindle app so I didn‘t start it forever. Yesterday I was so bored I dived in and now I can‘t stop! It‘s all I think about.
I dunno man this ending was disappointing. The book kept my interest but the writing style was hard for me. I really liked it at first but then I got too distracted. Overall a good story through.
Student: “Mrs. Maurice, I have a huge project due in English to pass! Do I have to pass to graduate??”
Me: “Uh, yes. What book is the project on? I‘ll help.”
Kid: “Tuesdays with Morrie”
Me: “What is that about?”
Kid: “You haven‘t read it?!? I don‘t know, I didn‘t listen.”
So now we are BOTH reading the book this weekend to do the project on Monday. 🙄 #teacherlife #teachersoflitsy
Let‘s be honest, all a book needs to get 5 stars from me is to be slightly funny and mostly intriguing. This book excelled in both categories. Honestly, I found myself laughing out loud several times and I couldn‘t wait to see the resolution. Like all good Sherlock stories, it was completely unexpected! Also that epilogue was 😱
I hope everyone had a great Easter. The Easter Bunny (aka Husband) took me out to buy some books since he forgot me this year. 😂 We went to a crazy family luncheon, and no I‘m going to finish The Last of August so that I can start my new convention themed books.
Sometimes I come to faculty meeting early just to read 😂 also I got the new Peeps Swirl from Dunkin‘ and it‘s basically just sugar. A lot of sugar, which is funny because I always order cream and the flavor and no sugar so that it‘s not too sweet. Anyways this book is interesting but I think I forgot too many things from the last one and I need to read a recap.
I... WHAT?!? I don‘t even know what was happening half the time but I‘ll be damned if I wasn‘t sucked in immediately. This novel follows a student government president turned secret ninja and throws in a little love triangle for good measure. I really appreciated the authors sense of humor, even when the story was a little...much.
Started this book for my morning me time. The pretty pink on the dust jacket was just calling to me. I always tel myself I don‘t have a preference between paperback and hardback, but I love peeling off that dust jacket and finding something beautiful underneath. This pretty rose gold had me like 😻
Decided to make it my goal to spend 10 minutes every morning for myself. Also seems like a cheaper alternative to Dunkin‘ Donuts everyday 😂😂 This decision was made mostly because this book has been killing me and I‘m so intrigued.
Book: The Wicked King by Holly Black (since I was awake all night thinking about it!)
Movie: Sleeping Beauty but also oddly enough Sleepless in Seattle which I‘ve never even seen but heard lots about
Song: Leave Out All the Rest by Linkin Park 🎶I dreamed I
