This was so good. Summer nostalgia bottled up in a beautiful read. Shakes you out of these winter days.
This book was just so lovely. The writing is beautiful.
It is about a 12 year old boy who lives in an American town over the summer holidays of 1928.
The ordinary becomes magical and extraordinary through his eyes. If only we all still looked at the world through child's eyes. Everyday an adventure, a puzzle, a warm hug with ourselves.
I'm looking forward to its sequel, 'Something wicked this way comes'.
