#TLT #ThreeListThursday @dabbe

1. Vivien Leigh. Favorite movie: THAT HAMILTON WOMAN. Olivier and she are magnificent together. 🤩
2. Nicole Kidman. Favorite movie: a toss-up between DEAD CALM and THE OTHERS. 😱
3. Lauren Bacall. Favorite movie: THE BIG SLEEP, but my favorite line is from TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT: “You know how to whistle, don't you Steve? You just put your lips together and blow.“ 😀

The Earthquake Bird | Susanna Jones
post image

1. Tagged. The Earthquake Bird by Susannah Jones. I remember being obsessed by it some years ago. - I even once missed my commuter train stop on my way home from work at theatre in the middle of the night because I was so hooked 😅
2. Unheimlich (=eerie, uncanny), a YA romantic thriller omnibus by Ursula Isbel. Got it on my 13th b'day. Still reread it every once in a while.
3. After Dark and/or Dance Dance Dance, my two faves by Haruki Murakami.

StaceGhost Yuki I love your choices! Murakami is such a good reread. I think my most rereads are boring— Jane Eyre, Anne of Green Gables, and Anna Karenina. 3w
dabbe Yowza! 3 I've never heard of and now on the TBR. Thanks for sharing. 💚💙💚 3w

Yuki_Onna @StaceGhost Classics aren't (necessarily😉) boring! At least not Jane Eyre😁
I've never read the other two. I must say that I'm impressed by your rereading of Anna Karenina 🤯

Different Seasons | Stephen King
post image

#TLT Thanks for the tag @dabbe
All three of my favorite novellas are in one book - Different Seasons has Rita Hayworth (The Shawshank Redemption), The Body (Stand by Me) and The Apt Pupil in it. I am generally not a fan of short stories but this book was a 1982 standout. I wore it out and bought a used copy last summer to read them all again. Stephen King is synonymous with childhood and shaped the 6th grade reader in me.

Bklover Wow- we did make similar pics. I forgot about Apt Pupil! I agree- I love going g back and reading the novellas and short stories. LOVED Different Seasons! 1mo
Reggie I read these 3 for the first time this past winter and totally agree. Standouts. 4w
dabbe @Bklover @peaKnit #greatminds! 🤩 Thanks for adding to my King TBR! 💚💙💚 (edited) 4w
