I *finally* got this bookshelf anchored to the wall so today's project is filling it up. Looks like sometime soon this particular shelf will be exclusively #BOTM, they take up all but two shelves and I'm not quite done opening boxes 😆

Loved this (bar the only reference to bisexuality being about it being a phase hmm) about the variety of black British womens experiences. What really struck me was how beautifully everything linked up, how everyone‘s lives came together to form something bigger, and the ending which I won‘t give away about connection, legacy and identity which was so satisfying and touching. I‘d love for this to make the shortlist. #bookerprize2019 longlist 9/13

#Hr36challenge for the #24in48 #readathon is a #LiteraryLoot theme. This is just a fraction of the swag I have in my library, since I got sick(er)it‘s in s bit of chaos, so a lot is buried. I‘m very proud of my Potterverse loot, including Hermiones wand that the hubby recently bought me. I‘m also proud of my pin flag & my bookmark obsession is still going strong.

Here is the steps I walked yesterday with my fur children. I also swam and did some canoeing. According to the conversation chart I should add another 2,610 for the canoeing and 2,715 for the swimming. It seems high so I am adding 2,500 to my total and call it fair. Total is 9,486!

#BookFitnessChallenge went for a run with my local running club for the first time in ages, it felt tough but good. The run accounted for about 6,200 of those steps.

My shortest book was Dr. Seuss' ABC Book at 24 pages, and my longest book was The Iliad/Odyssey by Homer at a woppin 1,556 pages!!! 😳😳😳

This was highlighted as a buzz worthy YA book at BEA. Honestly it was all rather silly and way too predictable. The premise is interesting but so predictable as to send me into fits of eye rolling.
