pickThis was a lovely, informative read about Harvey Milk and the origin of the rainbow flag as a symbol for the pride movement. I wish it would have gone into what each color on the flag represents but otherwise it was a great introduction for kids. It also inspired me to finally watch the movie Milk with Sean Penn, which was amazing btw

Rob Halford, the singer for JP, officially came out as gay during an interview in 1998, and has since been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ rights. While Judas Priest is best known for “Breaking The Law”, the tender song “Fever” addresses Rob‘s journey, from feeling trapped in a false identity:
